"And things under the earth"

Philippians 2:10 In the New King James Version says, "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under earth" it is significant that the NKJV uses the word "those" instead of "things" because we are talking about people in this passage. Those who are able to bend their knee before Jesus. This really helps us to understand what "under the earth" means in this context. It is speaking of people who are under the earth, that is, those who have died and have been buried. This is the simple meaning of this text, however, lets bring in a few more passages to support this idea.
In Matthew 12:40, Jesus said, "for as Jonah was three days and three night in the belly of the great fish. So will the Son of Man be three days and three night in the heart of the earth." Jesus describes His being "in the heart of the earth" for three days and three night. This was a reference to Jesus burial in the tomb. Jesus burial is a significant part of the gospel according to 1 Corinthians 15:4 look also at Revelation 5:3. "and no one in heaven or on earth or under earth was able to open the scroll or to look at it." The point of this passage is that no one alive or dead could open this scroll. Those "under the earth" are the dead.
Then also notice Revelation 5:3, which says, "and every Creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying 'Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever! Saying in this way includes everyone who had ever lived, lives, or ever will live. Those who are "under the earth" are those who have lived and are now dead. So, when Philippians 2:10 says that every knee shall bow, including those who are under the earth, the expression has reference to those who are dead.
That those who are presently dead will one day bow to Christ means that they will be raised from the dead. Jesus said in John 5:28-29,  Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in tbe graves will hear His voice and come forth-those who have done good, to the resurrection of the life, and those who have done evil. To the resurrection of condemnation."
We need to be prepared to bow the knee, our knee to Jesus. It is better to do that while we are in this earthly kingdom as we lived our life. In the same context Jesus said.
Most assuredly, i say to you, he who hear my word and believe in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. Most assuredly i say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live for as the father has life in Himself, so. He has granted the Son to have life in Himself. And has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man (John 5:24-27).
When we believe in Jesus and trust Him by obeying Him, He will save us and we will be delivered out of condemnation Let's listen to the voice of Jesus and obey Him presently so that we may not be condemned.

WHAT THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT GOD'S GOVERNMENT

1 Samuel 8:7-8
Israel had already deviated from Faithfulness, but here, she formally reject God as her ruler, taking a major step toward being exactly like all the nations around her this occured between 1100 and 1000 BC or roughly 350 years after the original making of the Covenant. Except for brief period when israel had a judge or king who did right in the eye of God, the spiritual harlotry continued unahated until God formerly divorced her, sending Israel and Judah into captivity.
We frequently gloss over the truly important part of this as we read through it. It is clear from Genesis 17:6 and Dueteronomy 17:14-20. That God anticipated Israel having a king or Judge title is of little importance. Having a king was not the real issue because God has already planned for Israel to have a king. Every organization must have a leader, so God lays down instructions as to how the leader should conduct himself to ensure that the king does not elevate himself above the people and rule as a despot. Instead, he is to be thoroughly familiar with and guided by the attitude, and Law of God. He must comprehensively knows that his own nature is just like those he serves and be humbled. However, the key to understand... The significance of Israel's demand in 1Sameul 6 is that she desire a king just like the other nations. Spiritually, this demand confirm Israel's who isn't behavior, and thus God tells Samuel to describe the National effect of her demand. On Israel's part, it is a complete rejection of her marriage vows; she wants  her benefactor and husband God-to have no say in her life, declaring herself, free of him and to be completely and totally a nation of this world, no longer the type of God's kingdom on Earth. The issue between God and man is simply a matter of government of sovereignty and providence. This appears as early as Genesis 3 when Adam and Eve reject Gods rule over them. Once God reveals himself through His calling, the issue of government comes to the force. This is what we confront in descision making as the Bible has recorded in great detail, mankind has shown that it wants to retain this authority to itself. Yet, the naked truth is we cannot retain sovereignty to ourselves and still have what God is offering kingdom of God. We cannot have it both as we will be submissive either to God's will or to our own fickles drives. Many of us di not get it."

4:19-31 Deuteronomy what is mean to us?

"But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with thy soul. When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; (for the Lord thy God is a merciful God); he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the Covenant of thy Father which he sware unto them."
Deuteronomy 4:29-31
Moses is talking to the children of Israel here warning them of what will happen in the future, the future is now (Exodus 20:5,6,7) that they will give themselves to idols again and be scattered and afflicted. I think it is important to remember that [we] are the people he is speaking to. He says "in the latter days"... And that is us. One of thing i like here is that Moses is telling them they are going to be in a very bad situation... "but if from thence thou shalt seek..." and  that applies to us directly, in whatever situation we are in. As followerd of Christ, we're part of the scattered tribes, whether by blood or adoption, and this promise is directly to us, whether we have been scattered to, whatever idols we have worshiped... If from here we shall seek the Lord our God, we will find him. We have to seek with everything we have... But if we do, then God offer us what he offered our ancestor long ago... Which were amazingly things you know what this thing is?  your grandfather know it? How about the Historic Gold agreement. The scattered tribes, the R.A 8371 Read (Exodus 20:5,6,7) He visited this the 3rd and the 4th generation. Read (Roman 1:18) (Roman 2:16)
(Eccl 12:14) Plus specifically in these verse he promises to, not forsake us or destroy us... And those pretty cool as well especially to you not to forsake us part. Everyone of us try to function without God in our life, shall do a lot. Our mind is dark, so we can't even think... Nothing works we became this walking talking Zombie... No mind, no heart, no soul. Its stink on one hard though, it has a purpose... It is amazingly good for us to remember desperately need God in our life, and when he is here with us,
Lets not take for granted. We neef to work to keep that relationships everyday... Seek him with all of our heart and all of our soul as we read again this verse (Deutrronomy 4: 19-31).

APPROVED BY ELOHIM

Religious bondage keeps people in the place where they are continually examining their religious service to be sure the work is consistent enough, sacrificial enough, big enough, strong enough, effective enough, and so on. Read the scripture
(Ecclesiastes 9:7-10). "Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine a joyful heart for it is now that God favors what you do."
Verse 7 is a most remarkable verse, because there is a statement in it of what we call in the new testament the "New covenant," God's new provision for living. It is clear from the New testament that God has given us a gift of approval, of righteousness. Because we already havr that by faith, we are free, and no longer do we have to struggle vainly to try to please God; we live in a way thay does please Him because we have already been accepted and approved by Him.
Notice how clearly that is stated here in (verse 7); "Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with joyful heart, for it is now that God favor what you do." This is recognition, even in the old Testament, of a relationship of righteousness that has already had been established. It is true that the basis was laid in our Lord's coming into the world and in His subsequent death and resurrection yet it is applied to all the people in the old testaments, aswell as in the new Testament who had faith in what God declared. Who believed His word and thus were given the gift of righteousnes just as we are here. The Searcher faces that as the real basis for life. If you want to find significance in your life, if you want to find significance in your life if you want to find deep meaning, peace, and contentment, this is the basis of it. Believe what God has given you already, then on that basis, live your life to the full fill it with all that is of value, reason, and wrath.
White garment area symbol in scripture of practical righteousness, of good deeds being done that flowout of this new relationship that is already true, oil is always the symbol of the Holy Spirit at work, so don't let oil be lacking on your head. Thus, here is a life filled with the spirit, full of good works, flowing out of the realization that God already accepted us.
That is the new basis for living. That is what Paul is talking about in Roman; "for sin shall not be your master, because you are not under the Law [with its demand that you measure before God will accept you], but under grace [with itmarvelous provision of rightrousness as a gift]." (Roman 6:14). It's your for the taking though you do not deserve it. And by it you are rendered fully accepted and loved by God. So right living follows that  and Solomon encourages us to live a normal life. Enjoy your God given work. Work is not something we are forced to do in order to keep alive. Work is a blessing. Do it with all your might. Do not just get through the best you can so you can get home and start enjoying yourself. Many of us live that way, but that is not the biblical way. The biblical approach is that work is given to you as a gift from God, so enjoy it.
Do we live like this? We who are christians, we who know the reality of the gift of righteousness and have discovered the secret of contentment of being able to handle even difficult conditions because of the joy that God imparts to us by His presence within, have we begun to live this way?
"Teach me to live this way, Lord, allowing you to fill all the empty places of my life and enjoying the many gift that you gave.

WHAT DOES LUKE 12:15 MEAN IN THE BIBLE?

There are 30 answers in this account just i keep 3 of them for a reason. Robert Gibbs, 45 year researching the bible updated oct17, 2019.author has 2.7k answer 979k answer viewer.
Jesus was warning against every sort of covetousness, (some translations say greediness). He meant that we should guard against longing for things we do not have or developing an insatiable desire for more.
Luke 12:15  "Keep your eyes open and guard against every sort of covetousness, because even when a person has an abundance his life does not result from the things he possesses."
Having a proper desire for things we need in life is normal and it's motivates us to work to provide for ourselves. But, the difference between normal desire and greed is like the difference between a campfire ans a blazing forest fire. One can be useful and controlled the other is destructive and out of control.
(Proverb 16:16NW). The soul of the hard worker has worked hard for him... But greed is dangerous and distructive. Its desire out of control. Many people people foolishly believe that what matters in life is how much one has it may be money, status, power, or anything that can be acquired. The mistaken idea is that having that things we want or having more of it will makes us content. But according to the Bible God can-and will-satisfy our reals needs, Jesus promised his followers. Luke 12:15 and he said to them, take heed and beware of covrtousness, for ones life does not consist in the abundance of the thing he possesses."
The meaning of this is quite plain and easy to be understood the meaning of your life is not measured by wealth. Beware of chasing for the sake of getting meaning through riches. There are many unfulfilled rich people. Equally there are many unfulfilled poor people. There are fulfilled rich people. And there are fulfilled poor people. There are those who take aim at people with money and there are those who believe and preach it's ok  to have money, the funny thing is, it is always those without money who are pointing the finger and claiming a superior spirituality to those with money.
The teaching in Luke finds a great expression in the story of the rich young ruler and Jesus. I am going to quotes the whole story because it is important to see the context.
Jesus counsel the rich young ruler
(Verse 18). Now a certain ruler asked him saying, "Good Teacher," What shall i do to inherit eternal life?
(verse19). So Jesus said to him, why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is God.
(Verse 20). You know the commandments.  "Do not commit adultery; Do not murder; Do not steal; Do not bear false witness; Honor your Father and Mother." (verse 21). And  he said, "All this things i have kept from my youth." (verse 22). So when Jesus heard of these things, He said to him "You still lack one thing, sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come follow me. (verse 23). But when he heard this he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich. The Question raised by the rich ruler was how to get eternal life. If money was the problem Jesus could have gone straight to the heart of the issue and told him to sell everything and give all tve money away instead Jesus quizzed him on keeping the law, which he passed with flying color. He then pointed out there was only one thing missing. Something missing, not something to be rid of. The problem was that the he was too attached to the riches even though he loved God and kept the law. Jesus didn't want him or need him to be poor to qualify for heaven. The young man needed to be less covetous or attached to his money.
The disciple had a dramatic discussion about the same issue with Jesus after the event. Jesus told them it was easier for a camel to get tbrought the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven the reaction? (Matthew 19:25).
When His disciple heard it they were greatly astonished. Saying" who then can be be saved? "
Why were they astonished? Why weren't they happy? It's because tvey were rich and used to meeting with rich people. If the rich were not able to be saved, who was going to be? They never considered being poor as being the standard for heaven. Jesus never said that and never implied that, yet the church and unchurched both somehow have embrace the idea of poverty equals spirituality
The main hindrance then is not riches, but covetousness. The meaningof life is not found in riches but in God. There is no objection from God to having riches and blessing!

This answer is if question is from Luke 12:15 interpreter's Bible point out that the person in the crowd who ask Jesus arbitrate an inheritance between him and his brother seems reasonable on the surface. Jesus's reply moves the discussion to a higher level. To ask that of him whether those there knew it or not, would be like going to the supreme court to fix a trafficked ticked.
The expression "to covet" comes from the last of the commandments in KJV order. There is a list of things one should not covet wish to have something or someone whatever it takes to get it. Jesus is using the sale word in reference. Why it is the man concern aboutbthe inheritance? It is disinterested concern for justice? As Jesus, sees, it, it is because he is covetous.
Jesus is saying the effect we have ethical problems at a superficial level because we have not truly solved deeper problems this is from the one who said that if we have a problem with a brother, we need to go and fix that before we can bother to worship and that, if someone ass for our coat, let him have your jackets too. He would also say, that  "he win not be concerned about what his brother does with the inheritance, or rather be glad if his brother keep it
The problem is not that Jesus expect as a lot of people think, that thr only ways to be spiritual is to be poor, but rather that the need to gather materials riches in order to be happy, safe, and comfortable leaves God out of the picture. If we understand that God supplies our needs, as Jesus did, we can be certain that God will direct us to what we need to do next. To assume otherwise is to make ourself as god to think we know better than God what we need and how to get it.
The rich young man from the next verses goes away disappointed because he missed the point that he doesn't have to sell everything's but rather he was to see that all of those good doesn't make him secure, and he can lose them at any time in number of circumstances.

WHAT GOD WANT US TO DO

During the early days of this Earth's history, God spoke to all mankind in some way through the heads of families however, as He began to carry out His scheme for the redemption of mankind, He chose the descendants of Abraham, the nation of israel, as His own peculiar people through whom the Messiah would come to bring salvation God sent the Israelites down into egypt during the days of Joseph in order to preserve them from famine, but when a new pharaoh arose who did not know Joseph and the egyptian enslaved his people. God raised up Moses to deliver them from egyptian bonded, lead them through the wilderness, and bring them to the borders of the promise land. While they were waitings in the plains of Moah just east of the jordan river for the time when they would cross over and conquer canaan, Moses gave a series of speeches to remind them of what God had done for them and to prepare them for their new home.
These speeches are recorded in the book of Deuteronomy, which means the second giving of the law. In (Deuteronomy 10:12-13).Moses said "And now, israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which i command to you today for your good?"  'The heading in the New King James version call this "' THE ESSENCE OF THE LAW." we recognize that these words were spoken to the nation of Israel not to us and that the law which contained them is not God's law for us today, yet, the old Testament scriptures are preserve for our learning, and this passage states some general principle that are still true. In simple easy to understand terms, these verse explain what God want us to do.
"FEAR THE LORD YOUR GOD"
Though derived from same basic root meaning of awe and terror, there are two senses of the word "fear" one is a feeling of being afraid or scare, and the other is a state of deep reverence and respect. When God tells His people to fear Him. The word is being used in the second sense "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge... The fear of the Lord is the beginning wisdom. (Proverb 1:7,9,10).
Anyone can gain bits and pieces of knowledge, but the only way to have proper understanding and concerning the knowledge of this world thats bring true wisdom is to begin with reverence and respect for the God who created it and us.
WHAT DOES FEARING GOD MEAN?
in Eccl 12:13-14) Solomon concluded his search for the meaning to life by saying that we are to "fear God" but how do we show that we fear God? It is by keeping His commandments, Moses will talk more anout about that later, but this is an essential part of fearng God yes we certainly should be afraid of what would happen if we disobey God (Heb.10:26-30).however, God's people do not obey Him just because they are afraid or scared of being punished but because of who He is and what He's done. Such revential fear will guide and control everything that we do. "Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, lets us have grace by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear" (Heb. 12:28). Moses told Israel to fear God, and we need to fear God too.
WALKING IN ALL HIS WAYS
We all know that the literal meaning of the word "walk" is to locomote by means of the legs and feet.
However, we often use it as a general figurative to refer to a person's way of living and doing things. Thus, throughout tbe bible, the term identifies a person's conduct, behavior, or manner of life both Enoch and Noah "walked before me and be blameless" (Gen. 17:1). Therefore using the idea of walking in this sense, everyone basically has two choices. Some people choose to walk in the way of this world, which is in actually walking the way that satan the templer want us to do.
Paul wrote about those who "walk according to the course of this world  according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the son of disobefience" (Eph. 2:1-2).because all have sinned, each of us had chosen to walk this way at one time or another. Many continue to travel in the ways of the world, but a few decide to change and walk in all the ways of God. "if we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice truth. But if we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin" (1John1: 5-7). To walk in the light simply means to walk in all of God's ways, just ad Moses told the Israelite to do.
 "LOVE"
In an earlier part of this second speech, Moses had already pointed out the importance of loving God.
"Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and strength, and then in the succeeding verse to teach their children to love God. Again, while this was s written in the old Testament law, Jesus said, that its the greatest commandments. "then one of them a lawyer asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying.  "Teacher, which is the greatest commandments in the law? Jesus said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, this is the first and greatest commandments"' (Matthew 22:35-38). Thus our Lord Himself put His divine stamp of approval on the idea that the most important thing that we can do is to love our God.
However, as in the case of fearing God, we must ask, what does loving God mean? Is it just having a stingly, emotional feeling when we think of God? "for this is the love of Gof that we keep His commandments and His commandments are not burdensome (1John 5:3). Again we shall note that Moses has more to say about keeping God's commandments. But it is interesting to note that this is the acid test for both fearing of God and loving Him. This leads to conclusion that what Moses say here is not five different, separate terms to identify different aspect of the same things, namely the kind of Attitude that God wants us to have, and that includes loving Him.
"SERVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL"
The word  Serve" basically means to work for and wait on. Families especially weathier ones, used to have, and some still do, servants who would cook for them, bring their food, clean their houses, tend their grounds, and so on. For example, Abraham had many servants, the oldest of whom he sent to find a bride for Isaac (Gen. 24:1-6,34). So when the bibles says that we are to serve the Lord, this is the background of the word. We are to work for Him, wait on Him, and do what He tells us to do. However, we have to remember that because God is what He is divine, Almighty, and infinity---He does not need our service. There is really nothing that we can do for Him that provides for His needs, rather, He want us to serve Him because that is what we need to do. Because we are created beings, we going to serve someone or something; and as we mentioned in our discussion of walking it is either going to be discussion of walking, it is either going to be them of this world or God.
"No one can serve two Master for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon" (Matthew 6:24). Some think they can serve both God and mammon, which refers to the things of the world, usually but Jesus says we cannot either one or the other will capture first place in our service. One word that is something translated "servant" is also translated "Slave" (in the ancient world, many times household services were actually slave). And again were either going to be slaves of sin or slaves of righteousness (Roman 6:13-18,23).
So we can choose to serve sin but the wages of that service is death, or we can choose to serve God, who in return gives us eternal life "keep the commandments of the Lord, and His statutes. We have already talked about the importance of keeping the Lord commandments as it telates to fearing and moving Him, but now Moses specifically says that God whats us to keep His commandments and His statutes. Why? The purpose of Gods commandment and statutes isn't to take all the fun out of life on to trip us up so that He can gleefully cast us into hell. "when your son ask you in time come, saying "what is the meaning of the testimonies, the statutes, and the judgments which the Lord our God has commanfed you? Then you shall say to your son.. And the Lord commanfed us to observe all these statutes to fear the Lord our God, for our on good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day "(Deut. 6:26-28) God's commandments are for our good. God is our creator. He knows what is best for us. And He had given us this commandment and statutes that are in our best intent.
We see this in the physical realm
Those who continually break the commandments of the civil law live in shame, have to keep on the run and hife, get a bad reputation, are often in jail or receive other punishment, and sometimes suffer and early and tragic and to their lives. However, those who keep the commandments of the civil law do not have to worry about all these problems consider what David thought of God's commandments are my delight (Ps. 119:143). "You are near, O Lord, and all your commandments are truth (Ps. 119:151). Yet, someone says, all these passages are in the old Testament and talk about the commandment that God gaves to Israel. Beside, someone else says, christianity is more that just keeping commitments and it is certainly true that being a christian involves more than just keeping certain commitments. For His people today and says, "If you love me, keep my commandments (Jn14:15). As we noted previously, we simply cannot fear the Lord or love the Lord without keeping His commandments and His statutes.

"PICTURE MESSAGE FROM Elohim"

We have this treasure in jar of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
2 Corinthians 4:7
CREATIVE PROGRESSION
There is an infinite being-outside time and space who has communicated with us. He explained how we came to be and told us how and why He originally created us. He describes how He spoke the worlds into being-the amazing process of creation. He demonstrates how He build a beautiful world into being-the amazing process of creation. He demonstrates how He built a beautiful world that was designed for life and living. He unfolded His creative progression till He finally created man-the first of his kind.
CREATED CLIMAX
He made space, time and language and imbued man with thought, reason and choice. He created man in innocence with the capacity to function in willing service for His purpose and pleasure in His creation He formed man with total free-will to choose to serve His creator gladly-in love. He worked in such away as to progressively build up our understanding of all He did. And final piece in His creative jig-jaw was Adam-man created in God image and man was His crowing glory-man was the climax of God's whole creation. Man created in His own image and likeness, was the pinnacle of God's creation.
BREATH OF LIFE
from the dust of the earth that was spoken into being God formed His own likeness. Finally, the breath of God Himself was breathed into him and man began to live. God had determined in the eternal council chambers that He would create man, and God in His infinite knowledge and understanding know that man would sin.
GLORIOUS PLAN
God was not taken by suprise, nor was He fazed by sins entrance in to the world. The all knowing God had already purposed the flow of history despite man's sin. The omniscient God had determined a more glorious plan-to His praise and glory.
PICTORIAL ILLUSTRATIONS
Our wise God had already purposed that He would make a new creation - Christ He would not scrap the fallen creation. But in His graciousness make all things new it was prophet Jeremiah that drew this into a beautiful pictorial illustration: the jar that he was making from the clay became flawed in the potter hand, so he made it into another jar as it seemed right for him to do. (Jeremiah18:4).
NEW MAN IN CHRIST
Before the world began the Lord knew that the old creation in Adam would fall. Before the foundation of the world the Lord had planned the new creation in Christ from the beginning-the wonderful story of new man in Christ was taking shape in the eternal council chamber if the Godhead-Christ body was being planned.
NEW CREATION
God Could have obliterated humanity when sin was introduced into the world. He could have halted the human race before His creation works began, but He didn't, for God looked down the corridor of time and chose each of us who'd become His body-and in the fulness of time God send forth His only Son to be the Federal head of a new creation.
POTTERY PICTURE
Now this is the score... Jeremiah pottery picture is an illustration of how God is fashioning His creation. The first creation; the first jar God made, became flawed in His hand Adam sinned. The potter did not throw away the clay-and neither did God do away the humanity, the potter did not try to refashion the flawed jar-and God will not do so either. The potter gathered up the clay one more time and made a new, more beautiful jar-and God in the sale way has made a new, beautiful creation from fallen humanity.
PLAN OF REDEMPTION
God made an entirely new creation in Christ from the flawed clay we'd become. He didn't try to
re-educate  Adam old race but set in motion His plan of redemption He did not try to re-train us or to insist that we did lots of studying of good works. He did not try to inprove us or to change by maning our fallen sin nature better Hid made on entirely new creation in Christians-regenerated but not re-educated but there was a difference-a staggering difference between the old and the new.
OLD AND NEW NATURES
The new man in Christ was now a fallen creation not innocent creation. God still gave Hus new creation  free-will. But man also had old sin nature. The old sin nature meant that man could never ever do what pleased God, but alongside the old sin nature was the new nature in Chris-the new life in Christ
IMPUTED SIN NATURE
Now think this through... Adam was created innocent and sin by. But had the capacity to choose not to sin. Adam could have chosen not to sin. He was able not to sin and sin nature from home passes on to all offspring. So now every member of the human race has an imputed sin nature from Adam. However before Adam sinned in hid innocence he could have chosen to serve God
IMPUTED AND INHERENT SIN
So things are very different for us. We are created new creature in Christ-not innocent but saved by grace through faith. We commit sins-we have imputed sin and we have inherent sin-we are sinner!!! - as sinnrrs we do not have the ability not to sin because its apart of who we are.
INNOCENT AND SINLESS
The old life we still retain the old, fallen sin nature is totally incapable. It falls far short of the glory of God and the wages of sin is death. However, christ was born innocent and sinless, but also had the capacity not to sin. Christ as God was not able to sin. God is perfect and sinless and unable to sin.
CHOICES OF OBEDIENCE
But, Christ as man was able not to sin but he could have sinned as a man. Christ could have chosen to sin like Adam chose to like Adam chose to sin. But Christ chose obedience. And because of His choice we have  a new life in us. Chode to serve His creator gladly in love. And saved by Hus redeeming work that we have this His new life in us.
LIfE OF CHRIST
We have this treasure(! The life of Christ) in a jars of clay to show that this is all-surpassing power from God and not from us. Our free-will choice as a believers is to let the life of Christ live in us. Until it is not i that live.. But Christ that lives in me!!!

"THE PROVERB IS TRUE"

What is your future? Do you want a glimpse into the days ahead? The proverb is true count on it. Expect it. A righteous man will realize only good as the end result of all his desires. For both God and men will favor and reward him. But the wicked man, no matter what he wishes for, will receive wrath.
The desire of the righteous should be compared to the expectation of the wicked. As with many of Solomon proverbs, the parallelism between the two clauses shed light on both of them. The wicked do not actively, and consciously expect wrath; they rather expect to realize their dreams and live the good life. Therefore, the desire of the effect, the end result, or conclusion to their lives.
This use words is called metonymy, a common figure of speech where a related word is substituted to add beauty and force, and in the case of proverb to create intrigue. Desire here is a metonym for the effect, future, or result of a righteous man's life. Expectation here is a metonym for the effect, future, or result of a wicked man's life.
A righteous man desires good things for others and himself that the wicked cannot even know, but the lesson is not how men desire different things, the lesson is what righteous men receive contrasted to what wicked men receive. A righteous man desires a blessed life, and he gets it. The wicked man desired a blessed life, but he gets judgment instead.
Solomon's described the expectation of the wicked elsewhere." when a wicked man death, his expectation shall perish and the hope of unjust men perished (Pr.11:7). "the hope of the righteous shall be gladness; but the expectation of the wicked shall perished (Pr. 10:28). The future of the righteous is blessed; the future of the wicked is curse.
A righteous man delight himself in the Lord, and God give him the desires of his heart (Ps. 37:4). He walk, uprightly zealously doing the will of God at all times, and God does not withhold any good thing from him (Ps. 84:11). He lives Godly life, desiring and trusting God to have mercy on Him and bless his efforts, God and men favor the cause if such men, and they reap results that are only good in this life and the next.
A wicked man thinks he will live indefinitely, and he pursues his goals without regard for God. Confident in himself and the world's vain promises. He is shocked with the troubles he endures in life, and then he dies to find his expectations turned upside down. He cannot take anything with him, and he finds God angry with him for eternity (Rev.20:11-15). This is a terrible outcome, but it is what he chose by living a selfish, sinful lifestyle.
What is our future now? How will things end for you and each family? Do you want a glimpse into these days ahead? The Proverb is true, count on it, expect it. A righteous man will realize only good as the end result of all his desires, for both God and man's will favor and reward him. But the wicked man, no matter what he desires, will be judged in wrath.

Hi ya'll! Tonya had a rough night with a little one, so I'm filling in for her.
I dont mean to be irreverent here, as i type that title above the  post.. I'm wondering if some of us were thinking that, when we read this verse Proverb 11:23 sayest.. "The desire of the righteous is only good, but the expectation of the wicked is wrath.
Does that mean that if we have a thought or desire pop up into our head that isn't "good"  that we're not righteous? Wow, if that were the case, that sends a shudder up my spine; how about you?
That is not what Solomon is saying here, though. Let's take this verse apart, like a mechanic working on a car, and then see if we can put it back together, shall we? (and we'll cross our finger that we have no part left over when we're done!.. I just hate it when that happen when we are repairing our vehicle. yeah! Ahem, i digress, alright, the part that is bothering us is the part that says, "only good," right? But if we back up to "desire" it is actually a hebrew word meaning "delight" that the key! Do we delight in the good things that happen to those around us? Do we desire that those around us have the good, the pleasant in life? Are we wishing for to anyone or are we delighted when God shows mercy and favor to others. I think we are on the right track here, because the root of the word "good" in the verse has these meanings; better, bountiful, ease, merry joyful, pleasant, and more.
Turn over the coin, the delight or expectation of the wicked? The wicked want God to move and force their passion and revenge on others to even remove those that are an obstacle that other people have, and they desire that those folks should have even more troubles.
Let's keep this verse in our hearts this weekend:, may even put it on card on the fridge?
(Psalm 37:4). "Delight thyself also in the Lord, and He shall give thee the desire of thine heart
Let's try desire the best for other.. Let's strive to be like the righteous, not the wicked. But have the mind of Christ Jesus!

"YOUR CHOICES SHOULD BE HEAVENLY MIND

Christian recognize there is a significant different between how we live our lives and how unregenerated sinner live theirs because we seek after God and restrain ourselves from sinful activities, the rest of the world views our conduct as odd and unnatural. And, one of the sobering realities which grows out of this contrast is that unrepentant sinners will speak evil of christians because of the manner of life. (1 Peter 4:3-5). "For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry."
DID YOU KNOW that your choice in life determine your destiny? (Hebrew 11: 24-25). Says. "By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh's daughter. He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the pressures of sin for a short time." when he came to the fork in the road, why did Moses choose the less traveled path? He knew that he would find God's presence in the midst of God's people.
Read (1Peter 4:3-5). "For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentile, when we walked in Laciviousness, lust excess of wine, revelling, banquetings, and abommable, idolatries wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of it. Speaking evil of you: Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. "Let's take closer look at the text.
First, Peter tells the saint that, before they obey christ look we christian are call saint if you're follower of faith. They had spend enough time living a sinful life: "For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles...see the star walk not a Gentile. We would say, you've had enough of that kind of life already and you don't need to go back to it!
This rebuke to ourselves as s strong reminder to all Christians that there is a special way, we are to live our lives; and it certainly is not in the pursuit of sinful passion in which we indulged ourselves before.
Apostle Peter then list six sins which characterize this former way of life so that there is no mistakingly what he is talking about.
Lasciviousness refers to sensuality (NASB) or lack of restraint (vine's expository dictionary of new testament words). Lusts refers to evil desires in context excess of wine is a clear picture of drunkenness. Revelling are uninvited carousels and banquetings are drinking parties. Abominable idolatries would include any unlawful conduct associated with pagan idolatry.
As we can see, the nature of sin has not changed through the centuries, these six sins enumerated by the apostle paint picture of men who have given themselves over to wantonness and unrestrained passion. It might have been pagan festivals in their day. It might have been wine in the first century, it might have been a drunken feast in Peter's day and a beer burst in ours present day..it might have been a pagan brawls of sin. But gives it amount to the same thing. A sinful course of life! Reminders, "You certainly don't need to spend anymore time engaged in that type of behavior!"
Of course, when the rest of the world sees that we do not engage in these popular, but sinful activities, they will be suprised." wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you."
Since you are not with them, you must be against them, or participate in their activity you will be labeled as narrow-minded, extremist bigoted, judgmental prudish, unfriendly; and anti-social. The unregenerated sinner will not understand your reason for rehaving as you do, and, therefore, will ridicule your conduct. He will judge you by his own flawed standard of behavior those who refuse to obey the gospel, however will be judge just as certainly as they have judge christians...who shall give account to Him that is ready to judge the quick and dead" (v. 5).
Here is sobering reminder that there will be a final day of reckoning. God will judge each man's life. The quick and the dead is a phrase which indicates the universality of judgment all men, whether living or dead, must answer for their conduct. As in  (2Corinthians 5:10). Remind us. "For me, all must appear before the judgment seat of Christ the Lord; that everyone may received the things done in His body, accordingly that he hath done.
Whether it be good or bad." the Christian, who has lived in faithful obedience to God's word, anticipates that day with great joy. The untepentant sinner has no such hope.
1 peter 4:3-4, then is a powerful reminder to each one of us to remain faithful in our service to God regardless of the enticement of the world or the sting of persecution. We know the consequences of sin, and we dare not spend a single day pursuing it as other do, yes, men will malign us and "say all manner of evil" against us.
(Matthew 5:11). Because we do not behave as they do, but we have heaven in mind  the unregenerated sinner neglects the certainty of judgment in which he will have to give an accounting of his life. Better to endure the ridicule of the world than the disappointment of our heavenly Father!
When you have to make a decision, think through the implication attached to your choice. How do you think you will feel five years from now? What are the consquences of what you are about to do? Don't be blind to the reality that ultimately will confront you.
When you are to faced with a decision, remember God promises wisdom to the one who ask for it. "if any of you lacks wisdom," says James 1:5, "he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding faults, and it will be given to him." That means pray, and be willing to say, "Yes, that's what I will choose to do." Courage and strength come to the one who has made up his mind ahead of time that he will do God's will.
Its the little everyday decisions to do right that gives you strength. Those little decisions are the mortal that the house of your life is build with.
