BEYOND DISAPPOINTMENT

PERHAPS YOU'VE SEEN the video of the little boy who learns he's getting another sister. In the middle of his meltdown he lamented, "It's always girls, girls, girls, girls!" It is an amusing glimpse into human expectations, but there's nothing funny about disappointment. It saturated our world. One story from the Bible is steeped in disappointment. Jacob agreed to work 7 years for the right to marry his boss's daughter Rachel. But after fulfilling his contract, Jacob got a wedding night surprise. In the morning he discovered not Rachel but her sister Leah.
We focus on Jacob disappointment, but imagine how Leah must have felt! What hopes and dreams of hers began to die that day as she was forced to marry a man who did not love or want her?
Psalm37:4 tells us, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Are we to believe that God fearing people are never disappointed? No, the Psalm clearly shows that the writer sees injustice all around him. But he takes the long view: "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him" (v.7). His conclusion: "The meek will inherit the land" (v.11).
In the end ,it was Leah whom Jacob honored and buried in the family grave plot with Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebekah (Gen.49:31). And it was through the lineage of Leah who in life thought she was unloved that God blessed the world with our Saviour. Jesus brings, restores hope, and gives us an inheritance beyond our wildest dreams.

STEADFAST IN YOUR RESOLVE

Now it came to pass, when they come for Him to be received up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem.
Luke 9:51
It is easy to become distracted in the Christian life! The moment you understand what God wants you to do, it will seem as though everyone around you requires your time and attention! When the time came for Jesus to go to the cross. He "set His face" toward Jerusalem, so that nothing would prevent Him from accomplishing His Father"s will. So obvious was His resolve to go to Jerusalem that the Samaritan, who hated the Jews, rejected Him because they recognized that He was a Jew traveling through their village to the hated city of Jerusalem.
Jesus determined not to disgrace him His mission, but He took time to minister to many people along His way. He sent out seventy disciple i to surrounding town (Luke10:1). He healed lepers (Luke 17:11-19). He continued to teach His disciples (Luke 15:1-32). Jesus did not refuse to minister to others as He went to Calvary, but ultimately He refused to be deterred from His Father's will.
If you know what God wants you to do, set your sights resolutely toward the goal with full determination to accomplish it (Proverb 4:25). Your resolve to go where God is leading ought to be evident to those around you. Beware of becoming so sidetracked by tve opportunities around you that you lose sight of God's ultimate goal for you. Do not succumb to the temptation to delay your obedience or discard it altogether. Once you have received a clear assignment from God, your responsd should be unwavering obedience.

LOFTY AND LOWLY CALLING

"Now it's required that those who have given a trust must prove faithful."
1 Corinthians 4:2
Picture yourself standing before God on the day that He rewards believers. You are longing to hear Him say, "Well done, good and faithful servant," but as you glance to your left you notice Hudson Taylor, the famous missionary to China. To your right stands Corrie ten Boom, the saint who put her life on the line to hide Jews from the Nazis. Somehow, you feel a little small and insignificant.
There's no need, God is only looking for you to be faithful in what He's called you to be and do. No matter if your calling is lofty or lowly, it is faithfulness for which The will commend you on that day when all believers stand before Him. That means that your faithfulness may be rewarded by God with as great a glory as that reserved for the evangelist of this world!
And one more thing: if your calling in life seems lowly, you are likely to receive a greater commendation. Why? Because deeper kind of obedience is necessary when submitting to God in a low calling it's tough to remain faithful to God through poverty kit pain. The one who is faithful in tough times catches God's eye.
Jeremiah Burroughs says, "You have a principle within you of grace, a principle that raises your lowest actions to be higher in God's esteemed than all the brave, glorious action that are done in the world."
That means that in God's eyes, Alexander the Great can't hold a candle to your lowest actions to be higher in God's esteemed than all the brave God's eyes, Alexander the Great can't hold a candle to your faithful service as you maintain a godly home. Julius Caesar's victories pale in comparison to your victories over temptations and trials. So remember: God required you to be faithful. That's enough that's everything.

HOW TO HAVE PEACE

WE HAVE  PEACE WITH GOD Through our Lord Jesus Christ.
ROMANS 5:1
THE KAMPPI CHAPEL of Silence in Helsinki, Finland stands out in its urban setting. The curved structure, covered with wood, buffers the noise from the busy city outside. Designers created the chapel as a quiet soace and a calm environment for visitors to compose themselves." it is a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Many people long for peace, and a few minutes of silence may soothe our minds. But the Bible teaches that real peace with God comes from His Son. The apostle Paul said comes from His Son. The apostle Paul said, "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" (Roman 5 :1). Without Christ, we are enemies of God because of our sin. Thankfully, accepting Jesus' sacrifice reconciles us to God and ends the hostility thqt existed between us (COL.1:19-20). He now sees us as Christ presents us--"holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation" (v. 22).
Having peace with God does not ensure problem-free living. However, it does steady us during difficult times. Jesus told His followers, "In this world you will have trouble," but He also said, "In me you may have peace" (John16:33). Because of Christ, the true peace of God can fill our hearts (COL. 3:15).

NOT A SECRET AT ALL

In a vision on 2019, I saw two women talking together, Iike friends do.
Then one of the women said, "Oh please, don't tell anyone I said that. That person would be so upset to know I shared something she asked me not to share, and if you don't tell her, then she'll never know her secret was shared."
And the two agreed not to share it beyond themselves. The one who shared the secret, by accident, trusted the other not to share, just as the original person, who shared it with, not to share.
But then the woman who had found out the secret by "accident" shared it with someone else by "accident."
End of Vision
I asked The Lord, "What do You want to tell about the vision?"
He said, "Do you remember playing telephone or telegraph when you were little and everyone at in a big circle?
The first person would share a secret with the second person and it would be whispered from ear to ear around the circle, with giggles in between, until it came to the last person in the circle and they would share the secret aloud.
Of course, what the last person said and what the original person, usually weren't even close to each other, because along the way around the circle, someone didn't hear clearly, or someone misunderstood, so they made up their own secret to share.
Then there were some who would maliciously change the secret on purpose, so someone might get I trouble or it would embarrassed someone.
This is an example of what really happened with gossip.
The first one who accidentally shared a secret that someone has shared with them doesn't usually look on it as gossip.
It is because it isn't their news, but it is hearsay, s she/he (because it happens with males and females) is gossipping.
Gossipping gets a whole lot of people in trouble and is used by the enemy very deviously to bring misunderstandings, to damage relationships, trust, and to destroy people mentally, physically, spiritually, and even financially if you get sued for it.
Gossip carries on the enemy's plan of lies, deceit, and perversion of the truth, or whatever name you want to call it he uses it to his advantage.
Who would have thought that one little secret could do so much harm?
But what is most important for you to know, is the enemy's uses "secret" today's weapon the witchcraft practice this is happening today during lockdown to poison your breathe. To give a bad character as they want. A bad Information you people doing that, such as where they will be or who they will be, so that the enemy can destroy people and pull them away to good.
You say, "But the enemy's isn't like you Lord, he can't be everywhere at once." And you are still thinking that maybe telling a secret "accidentally" really isn't so bad.
But I tell you, whether you are the first one to share someone there secret accidentally, or the last one, it is still gossip.
Did you forget, it isn't your news to tells? You have betrayed a friend or someone else, and it is wrong.
Oh, You thought you were helping them, because they'd never find out and you just wanted to share it and take advantage for your purposes.
It is still wrong. The original person share it with you, because they thought they could trust you not to tell.
So now you are going to betrayed their trust, because your judgement is better than theirs?
Who made you the judge of their secret?
Remember they shared with you, because they trusted you not to tell to anyone.
So how wrong is telling someone else's secret?
The enemy's is very calculating in controling the demons who work for him, that are within, near and around us.
Because the enemy's is who he is, he obviously wants to find out the weaknesses or ways to get at everyone that are within, near, and around us.
Because the enemy is who he is, he obliviously wants to find out the weaknesses or ways to get at everyone that isn't on his side.
How does he do this? He sends out demons as spies in the camp.
Those in witchcraft also specifically as sign demons to certain people certain areas, etc, so they can find out information. But they forget laws; what you sow you shall reap. So unless you are praying to stop the spies in the land, and their unholy friends, and the magnetic or electrical and other forces used to spy on and harm you. But get deliverance from this unholy spirit that causing you to lose your relationship with God.

DARKNESS AND LIGHT

You will not fear the terror of night. . .nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness
Psalm 5:6
Reading this story I can recall my old days youth. I selling hot pandesal pan 4:30 early morning, at 6:30 delivering newspapers, I had to be out 3:00 a.m. walking through that cemetery in the darkness, sometimes I would be so frightened that I would actually run! I was afraid until I was standing safely under a streetlight on the other side. The scary darkness was dispelled by the light. One thing is that we my cousin, he said, come with me we will visit our ancestor farm. Going there is easy by paddling canoe. We leaves 11:00 Am and reached there by 2:30 pm. But we have climb the mountain to reached his nipa house. He said relax take rest I'll visit my girl friend at this small town and be back soon. Sleeping in this bamboo floor I and look around I can see this old water Jar, looking at the ceiling a hole of a Nipa hut that I can see the sky. i heared the bird singing the wind blowing at the middle of this mountain. That i noticed the Sun is setting that the darkness is coming. If I see map this time I'll be facing the Pacific oceans.
The psalmist understood the connection between fear and darkness, but he also knew that God is greater than those fear. He wrote, "You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day nor, the pestilence that stalks in the darkness"(PS.91:5-6). Neither terrors of night nor evil in the darkness need to drive us fear. We have a God who sent His Son, the light of the world (John 8:12).
In the light of God's love and grace and truth, we can find  courage, help, and strength to live for Him.

ACCESS TO GOD

Let us then  approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may  receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
HEBREW 4:16
TECHNOLOGY IS A BLESSINGS in so many ways.Need a bit of information about a health problem? All you have To do is access the internet where you instantaneously get a list of options to guide your search.Need to contact a friend? Just send a text, email, or Facebook post. But technology can also be frustrating at times. The other day I needed to access some information in my bank account and was asked a list of security questions. Unable to recall the exact answer, I was blocked from my own account. Or think of the times when an important conversation is cut off because of a dead cellphone battery, with mobwsy to reconnect until you find a plug to recharge it.
All of this makes me delighted with the reality that when I need to access God in prayer, there are no security question and no batteries required. I love the assurance that John gives when he says, "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will hear us" (1JOHN 5:14).
God is always accessible, for He never slumbey not sleeps! (Psalm 122:4). And thanks to His love for us, He is waiting and ready to listen.
Lord thank you for desiring communication with me and for the reassurance that You are indeed listening and ready to help in time of need. Teach us to come to You with confidence in Your attentive love for us.

TREASURES IN HEAVEN

Lay up for yourselves treasure in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal..
Matthew 6:20 NKJV
Poorly installed electric wiring caused a fire that burned down our newly build home. The flames leveled our house within an hour, leaving nothing but rubble. Another time, we returned home from church one sunday to find our house had been broken into and some of our possessions stolen.
In our imperfect world, loss of material wealth is all too common vehicles are stolen or crashed, ship sink, buildings crumble, homes are flooded, and personal belongings are stolen. This makes Jesus' admonition not to put our trust in earthly wealth very meaningful (Matthew 6:19).
Jesus told a story of a man who accumulate abundant treasures and decided to store up everything for Himself (Luke 12:16-21). "Take life easy," the man told himself; "eat, drink and be merry" (v.19) But that night he lost everything, including his life. In conclusion, Jesus said,  This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God"(v. 21).
Material wealth is temporary. Nothing lasts forever except what our God enables us to dofor others. Giving of our time and resources to spread the good news, visiting those who  are lonely, and helping those in need are just some of the many ways ti store uo treasures in heaven (Matthew 6:20).
In what t ways are you storing up treasures in heaven? How might you change and grow in this area of your life?

PIERCING THE DARKNESS

The Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.
ISAIAH 60:19
I caught my first glimpse of them as a college student. On a frosty, fall night, far from the light of the city, I was riding on a hay wagon loaded with noisy friends when the sky lit up and colours flashed across the horizon. I was mesmerised.
Ever since that night I have been fascinated with the phenomenon called aurora borealis, also known as northern lights. Mostly they are seen far north of where I live, but occasionally they appear in lower latitudes. Having seen them once, I long to see more. whenever the conditions are favorable, I say two my equally fascinated by friends, "Maybe tonight. . ."
Throughout Scripture, light and glory are used to describe the coming of the Lord. A time is coming when the sun and moon will be unnecessary (Isaiah 60:19).
And in describing God on His throne, the apostle John wrote, "The one who sat there had the appearance of Jasper and ruby. A rainbow that shone like an emerald encircled the throne" (REV.4:3).
An emerald circle is an apt description of the northern lights. So whenever I see glorious light displays in the skies above whether in person or via picture or video I think of it as a foretaste of what is to come, and I praise God that even now His glory pierces the darkness.
Lord, the world around us is sometimes so dark that it is difficult to see your power and goodness. Thank you for the reminders that the light comes first... than the darkness . Help us to wait with great expectation for the day when we will see you on your throne.
Jesus came to give light to a dark world.

LOVE COMES FIRST

We loveb[God] because he first loves us
1 John 4:19
ONE EVENING MY Friend showed the one of the three decorative plaques that would be part of the wall arrangement in her living room. "See I've already got love," she said, holding up the plaque with the word written on it. Faith and Hope are in order."
So Love comes first, I thought faith and Hope soon follow!
Love did come first. In fact, it originated with God. First John 4:19 reminds us that "we love [God] because he first love us." God's love described in 1 Corinthians 13 (known us the love chapter"). explain a characteristic of real love when it says, "Love never fails"(v.8).
Faith and hope are essential to the believer. It is only because we are justified by faith that "we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" (Rom 5:1). And Hope is described in Hebrews 6 as "anchor for the soul, firm and secure"(v.19).
One day we will have no need of faith and Hope. Faith will become sight and our hope will be realized when we see our Saviour face to face. But love is eternal, for love isot God and God is love (1John 4:7-8). "Now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love" it's first and last. (1Cor.23:13)

THE SONG OF OUR LIVES

The Lord God is my strengths and my Song
ISAIAH 12:2 NLT
EVERYONE TOUCHED BY A PIECE of music hears it differently. The composer hears it in the chamber of his imagination.  The audience heared it in senses and emotions. The members of the orchestra hear most clearly the sound of the instruments closest to them.
In a sense, we are the members of God's orchestra. often we hear only the music closest to us. Because we don't hear a balanced work, we are like Job who cried as he suffered: "Now those young men mock me in song; I have become a byword among them" (Job 30:9).
Job recalled how princes and officials had respected him. His life was " awash in cream, and the rocks gushed olive oil for me" (Job 29:6).: But now, he had become the target of mockers. " My harp plays sad music," he lamented (Job 30:31). Yet there was much, much more to the symphony. Job simply couldn't hear the whole song.
Maybe today you can hear only the sad notes of your own violin. Don't lose heart. Every detail in your life is part of God's composition. Or perhaps you are listening to a cheerful flute. Praise God for it and share your joy with someone else.
God's masterpiece of redemption is the symphony we are playing and ultimately everything will work together for His good purposes. God is the composer of our lives. His song is perfect, and we can trust Him.

EXTRA ORDINARY PEOPLE

We have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
2 CORINTHIANS 4:7
GIDEON WAS AN Ordinary person. His story recorded in Judge 6, inspired me. He was a farmer, and a timid one at that. When God called him to deliver Israel from the Midianites. Gideon's initial response was "How can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family" (Judge 6:15). God promised that He would be with Gideon and that he would be able to accomplish what he had been asked to do (v. 16).Gideon's obedience brought victory to Israel, and he is listed as one of the great heroes of faith (Heb11:32).
Many other individual played a significant part in his plan to save the Israelites from a strong enemy force. God provided Gideon with 300 men, valiant heroes all, to win the battle. We are not told their names, but their bravery and obedience are recorded in the Scripture (Judge 7:5-23).
Today, God is still calling ordinary people to do His work and assuring us that He will be with us as we do. Because we are ordinary people being used by God, it's obvious that the power comes from God and not from us.
Lord I am just an ordinary person, but You are an all-knowing and powerful God
I want to serve You. God uses ordinary people to carry out His extraordinary plan.

AS IT IS WRITTEN

[They] build the altar. . .to offer burnt offerings on it, as it is written.
Ezra 31-6 NKJV
When it comes to putting things together electronics, furniture, and the like my son and I have differing approaches. Steve is more mechanical inclined, so extends to toss the instructions aside and just start in. Meanwhile, I'm poring over the "Read This Before starting" warning while he was already put the thing halfway together.
Sometimes we can get by without the instructions. But when t comes to putting together a life that reflects the goodness and wisdom of God, we can't afford to ignore the direction He's given to us in the Bible.
The Israelites who had returned to their land after the Babylonian captivity are a good example of this. As they began to re-establish worship in their homeland, they prepared to do so "in accordance with what is written in the Law of Moses" (EZRA 3:2). By building a proper altar and in celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles as prescribed by God in Leviticus 23: 33-43, they did exactly what God's directions told them to do.
Christ gave His followers some direction s too. He said, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all yourself" ( Matthew 22: 37-39). When we believe in Him and come to Him, He shows us the way to live. The one who made us knows batter than we do how life is supposed to work

Guarding our Words

Stupid people express their anger openly, but sensible people are patient and hold it back
Proverbs 29:11 TEV
So many conflicts could be avoided if people simply understood the truth of this verse. The Bible says that it is fool who speaks whatever he is thinking at the moment. A wise person guards his words and speaks at the right time.
Have you heard someone say, "Well, I just say whatever I think!" That person has unwittingly revealed something negative about himself. In contrast, a wise person knows when to speak up and when to be quiet.
As you deal with people, some of them will irritated you. Sometimes people or situations canbe so annoying that we find words rising up in our minds that almost demand to be spoken. Don't give in to that implies.
You are empowered by grace and have authority over what you say and don't say. Don't say. Don't give life to angry thoughts by inappropriate expressing them. There is a proper time, place and manner for expressing thoughts in words. Be sure that when you speak, it is a godly response and not an impulse reaction.

YOUR FREEDOM

"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom."
2 Corinthians 3:17
JESUS NEVER SAID TO HIS Disciples, "obey my rules." Instead, He told His followers to "Obey me." And because the Lord did not leave us with a long list of "Thou shalt nots," we have freedom.
Jesus stripped the fear and intimidation away from obedience when He wrapped His life around His Word. What liberty! The Lord made obedience something that you would desire to do because He gave His life that you might be free. What a brilliant motivation for us to trust and obey!
Sometimes I wish that God would give me less freedom and force me to do the right thing make me obey.bit would be easier that way."This "freedom stuff" carries with it a heavy weight of responsibility. we must required to discern between white and black, light and dark, good and evil. We must required to make choices. We must required to be free.
But that's the beauty of the freedom of the Lord. And it is His love that makes us to obey.
This is why Jesus said His commandments were not burdensome. Obeying God was never meant to be a chore or a duty, but a joyous response to His love.

NOTHING CAN SEPARATE YOU

Who, then can separate us from the love of Christ? Can trouble do it, or hardship or persecution or hunger or poverty or danger or death?
ROMANS 8:35 TEV
Nothing you could ever experiences, no matter how terrible ot frightening, could ever separate you from the love of God. No tribulation and distress you might ever suffer could be so intense that God's love for you is not even more fervent. No persecution could be so painful that God's love cannot bring comfort. Famine might starve you food, but you will never hunger for tge Father's love. Poverty cannot strip you of God's compassion, just as even death itself is incapable of robbing you of your heavenly Father's infinite love.
If you base your view of God's love on your circumstances, you will become confused. There may be times when you will ask, "How could a loving God allow this to happen to me? You may begin to question wgat you find clearly stated in tge Word of God. God promised that you would never be separated from His love; He did not say that you would never face hardship, persecution, poverty, or danger. If you doubt that God could love you and still allow you to experience difficult experiences, consider the life of Jesus.
If you allow the death of Jesus on tge cross to forever settle any questions you might have about God's love, you will approach difficult circumstances with confidence. Knowing that there will never be anything that could separate you from God's perfect love, you will watch to see how God expresses His love in each circumstance. Don't ever judge God's love based on your circumstances. Instead, evaluate your circumstances from the perspective of God's love.

GOD'S KIND OF FAITH

If you can even get just a glimpse of the beauty of this realm of faith, your whole life will change. If you see it, you will see the Christ-life, and you will give all so that you may have it. To live in this realm of faith is God's will and great desire for all of us He who is for you is a million times more than all than can be against you.....What an advantage it would be if we could just come to a place where we know that everything is within reach of us.
Faith was build in the fact that he "knew that he knew that he knew" that God was a million times greater than any difficulty or trial he cames across. He lived in this reality of faith, which was such a great joy. This faith and the pursuit of this faith caused you, me to count all trials as joy. All of life became sweet with this outlook.
This is the "like precious faith" (2 Peter 1:1) "which was once for all delivered to the Saints" (Jude 3). This "faith that prevails," "the ever increasing faith," cannot be generated by anything else but seeing God through every situation and circumstance. It is the "pearl of great price" that the merchant found (Matthew 13:46).
No real joy is found in the faith built by man's Precept and programs. (God will develop in us a joyful faith as we allow Him to do so). But there is exhilaration, "joy inexpressible and full of glory" (1 Peter 1:8), in the faith that God builds. The Lord Jesus is "the author and finisher of our faith" (Hebrew 12:2), and He will develop in us a joyful faith as we allow Him to do so.
"He who has an ear, let him hear what the spirit says to the churches"
(Revelation 2:29). We must not settle for anything less than this reality of faith that is available to all of us not just a mental assent or hope, but the faith that only ask once, believes, and sees its object come to pass. You will not get it from any book. You will not get it from any seminar. You will not get it from any course or college or teacher. You will not get it, no matter how good it is. Although these things can instruct you, guide you, and help your faith to grow, youth ultimately can get this kind of faith only from God Himself. From walking in close relationship with Him, living in His Word, hungering and thirsting for Him, and continuously yielding to His Spirit, you will obtain God's kind of faith as you learn to "count it all joy" (James1:2)

INSTANT VICTORY

We live in an "instant" generation, in a time of quick answers. we have instant coffee, instant dinners, and many things a instantly at hand. We cook our food almost instantly in microwave ovens. Through all this, our patience level has been slowly whittled down.
Spiritually, we have also been affected to the point that we expect immediate, miraculous answers to superficial prayers. Few have any real any real tenacity these days, any real determination to press through, to "stick it out" until they see the desired result. By patient, enduring faith is what God desired to build in us the opposite of today's "instant" faith.
Many try "the walk of faith," but because it does not work instantly, they give up and continue in unbelief. Some react by living in a fantasy world of faith clichés, shallow confessions, and vain hopes, never pressing on to real faith. When coming across this opposition of faith, this godless environment, he did not even pretend to have any quick answers, He knew that he had a fight on his hands. because he saw that the one afflicted had "faith to be healed," he stayed.
Some places exist where we can do nothing because the people are so opposed in spirit and in mind to God's will through their unbelief. Scripture tells us that this affected even Jesus: "Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief" (Matthew 13:58). But saw some faith here, and willing to press through to victory.
However, God is looking for a people possessed and controlled by Spirit, a people who will be led Him through every situation to enduring and determined faith. This generation, which is to rise up to the call of the last days, needs to be "rooted and grounded in love" (Ephesians 3:17) that produces tenacious, saying faith. The Question rings out louder than ever before in this instant generation, "when the Son of Man comes, will he really find faith on the earth?" (Luke 28:8).
Through hearing from God and obeying His voice, learned to press through, to have enduring faith. and spent the whole day in breaking the unbelief, "in prayer and ministering the Word." When he heard from the spirit of God that faith had been build, assurance came. God gave Him a vision, and the power was released. learn to obey God's Word to the extent that he continued in spiritual warfare until the battle was won and victory was obtained. Build your Faith that arounds you and watched as God Moved. When you live "clothed with" (2 Corinthians 5:2) the Spirit of God and are controlled by Him, you are not controlled by circumstances or unbelief you may see the circumstances and feel the unbelief, but you are not controlled by them.
God will direct you in each individual situation, then stand in faith. And pray. What ever needed for the specific circumstances will be revealed to you by the guidance of Holy Spirit. And you have your instant Victory.

LIVING IN EXPECTATION

How do we build expectation in our lives? "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17).
Expectation comes from the truth of God being fixed in ours hearts by the Holy Spirit. Expectation is not a feeling or emotion that can be pumped up by positive thinking, but a direct result of the coupling of study of the Word of God with fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
We must learn to build expectancy in our hearts before we arrive at a service. If we will do this, not only will we receive greater blessings and miracles in ourselves, but also our expectancy can increase the blessing on the whole meeting and into ourselves.
How do we build expectation in our lives? Read (Romans10:17). "Faith comes by hearing by the word of God."
Thank Him for each revelation. Mediate on it. Apply it specifically to you and your life. Commit yourself to do it and live by it.
Praise God! What a mighty message from the heart of God. There us so much in these words for us today, if we will apply ourselves. We need to look closely at what was saying in this message and see how it applies to us personally. To do this, let us look at some of the major points in the message. They are keys for God's "end-times army." the Holy Spirit can so bring into our hearts these truth that we shall live in the top place of expectation.
"The top place of expectation"! THIS IS WHERE YOU SHOULD LIVED, and where God would have us all live. It is important to note that the man of God started his message with expectation, for it is the ingredient that he knew people needed in order to fully receive the Word of God and, in so doing, receive faith to have their needs met.
We see so much more ii a meeting when there is expectancy that God will move, and not just the presumption that it will be the same as before.
Expectation is the eager and confident anticipation that you will meet with God. It is the faith attitude that paves the way for God to move; it is the foundation that makes the church alive.
Don't rush ahead in the pursuit of intellectual knowledge, but allow the Holy Spirit to build faith and expectation in you "Precept upon precept, line upon line" (Isaiah 28:13).
As you read this, read it expecting to grow, and allow the Holy Spirit to fix each truth in your heart according to this process. Then you will get the maximum out of it.

THE JUDGEMENT SEAT

For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
(2 CORINTHIANS 5:10)
THERE ARE MANY MOTIVATION IN THE CHRISTIAN'S LIFE. One is our awareness  that one day we will give an account of our lives to Christ, as He sits in judgement  upon humanity. It is much more comforting to believe that Christ will be ushered into heaven with no question asked about our faithfulness upon earth, but that is no what Scripture says will happen.
Paul cautioned that in the final day of judgement, every Christian will give an account for his or her actions. This expectation terrified Paul and motivate him to strive to God  in everything he did (2Cor.5:9-11). Paul knew that although he might ignore the Spirit's quiet voice during His life on earth, a time of accounting  would come when he would to explain why he had rejected God's instructions. Paul never carelessly assumed that, because of all he had done for God's kingdom, God would overlook his sin. Instead, he understood that to whom much is given, much is required (Luke12:48).
God does not force His will upon us. He will ask us to answer for the way we responded to Him. Christians have been pardoned by the sacrifice of Jesus. We are not condemned. But because God  is absolutely just, we will be called on to give an account of our actions. The Christian life gives a tremendous freedom, but it also brings a pervasive sense of our accountantabiliy to God and to others. We can learn from Paul that accountantabiliy is healthy; it gives us a powerful motivation  to please God.

CLOTHED WITH

[Jesus said,] He who believe in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
(John 14:12)
Do you want a power? Don't take it the wrong way. Don't take it as power because you speak in tongues. If God has given you revelations along certain lines, don't take that for the power. Even if you have laid hands on the sick and they been healed, don't take that for the power. "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me" (Luke 14:18): that alone is the power.
Many Christians are seeking spiritual power today. Praise God for that, for Jesus said, "Seek, and you will find" (Matthew 7:7). We so desperately need to see God's power fully operating in this day and age to come. Read our devotional verse. (John14:12).
Thus we know that "he who believes" is meant to move in the same power and do even greater works than Jesus did, but not many are doing so. Why not? The man of God supplies a key to the answer.
So many men and women are looking in the wrong places. We focus on the latest plan or popular teaching and hope that it will give us power. However, we can't work for it, buy it, or learn it from a book. We fail to realize that it is not the doing that brings power, but the yielding.
We can receive power only as a gift, through yielding and obeying. We may speaking tongues, have great revelations, and even see some healings, but this is far below pattern we are meant to work in. God's standard is for us to be fully yielded and controlled, fully possessed, and thus "clothed with" (2 Cor.5:2) His Spirit and power wherever we go, and in whatever circumstances we find ourselves.
"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me"
(Luke 4:18) is the prize that the church is looking for and What God wants to giver her. It is the beauty of yielding, the depth of possession, the joy of obedience, and the wonders of His power. If You have it lived with it "Clothed with" the Spirit, and he continued to talk again and again about it. If you are finding repetition here, it is so that you might be continually confronted with this model, so that you would adopt this standard as your own, and so that you will not settle for anything less. May you fight and pray, study and yield, until you have it.
This standard is what God wanted to bring the church at the beginning of the twentieth century. However only a few people really seized it for themselves.
In the great last-days harvest that is coming upon the earth, God will establish His standard in the heart and lives of His people. Many not just a few, but an army will walk fully "Clothed with"  (2 Cor. 5:2) the Holy Spirit. The time is now for the whole body of Christ to be Clothed with"  the Spirit of Christ. "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me." This is the true power; this is possession.

POSSESSED BY THE SPIRIT

"The people who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits"
(Daniel 11:32)
To possess the Spirit of God is one thing but it is quite another to be possessed by the Spirit of God.
Millions around the world have received the baptism on the Holy Spirit since the great outpouring at the beginning of the twentieth  century. This is part of the preparation of the church, the bride, for the return of King of Kings.
However, the beauty and power of his life came from the fact that he went on from there to the position that he is talking about here. A further place in Spirit exists, a place of being controlled and possessed by Him. God really starts to use men and women when they become totally consumed by Him, to the fact, to the extent that their thinking, their ways of acting, their praying, their  worshipping, their all become Spirit controlled. Their lives are no longer their own but His.
Nothing less will please the Lord, only a constant, full burnt offering for God where He is in absolute and utter authority over my whole being until I am living thinking, acting  on the power of the Holy Spirit.
We know that many people are affected by evil Spirits in our day. Now many people are "demonized," or affected by them in certain restricted areas of their lives yet they still carry on relatively normal activities, being bound just in those areas. For example they may be "demonized" by a spirit of alcoholism, spirits of anger and rage or spirit of lust, yet the evil spirit don't dominate or control their whole existence.
However, a very few people actually are possessed by a demon. Those possessed  are in an asylum strapped to a table or in a straightjacket, because they have no personal control because the demon spirit is controlling them. God is looking for those who will come to the place of absolute surrender.
In the same way, many Christian's are "Holy Spiritized," still living according to their own plans most of the time, affected by God"s Spirit in some aspects of their lives. But a few are actually possessed by the Holy Spirit. Those possessed are the ones who have given over total control to Him. "The people who know their God  shall be strong, and carry out great exploit" (Daniel 11:32).
This is the second step of the baptism in the Holy Spirit that the church needs to take hold of. The last days church, with opposition that it is up against  and the work it still has to do, must take hold of this further step of being Spirit-filled. God is looking for those who will come to the place of absolute surrender.  They will be the labourers used in the end-times harvest the last great world wide revival. They will he  God's end times army not those with great ability or gifts who have the Holy Spirit but those  who have God's  ability because the Holy Spirit  has them. If your desire is to be a member of this special "armed forces unit," it requires your absolute dedication. You need to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and received the gift of tongues  as a starting point. If you have not experienced this yet, seek the Lord for it. Then find someone who has, so that they might lay hands on you and pray for you.  Do not stop until you received it. Finally,  consecrate yourself to the surrendered life to become part of God's end times army and "a flame of fire" (Hebrew 1:7).

THINGS HAPPENS EVEN TODAY

If any one choose to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from or whether I speak on my own.
John 7:17
THERE WAS SOMETHING about the stranger who walked with those two men on a dusty road that led from Jerusalem to Emmaus almost 2,000 years ago. The two men were talking about all of the events that caused them to believe Jesus was the savior.
As the three walked, the two men told how two women had gone to the grave and it was empty; but this they could not believe. Luke (who records the event) says, "As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them; but they were kept from recognizing him" (Luke 24: 15-16). Then the stranger began to explain what had happened in terms they could understand. They invited Him to dinner and suddenly the mystery was over
Luke says, "When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their eyed were opened and they recognized him" (Luke 24:30-31). It was the resurrected Christ who had walked with them, and they had known Him not.
It is still true today, sometimes it is the impact of 21st century materialism that blinds our eyes and keeps us from recognizing the resurrected Savior. The aura of "intellectualism" keeps us in the dark. Sometimes we are so consumed with ourselves, our plan, and our agenda that we never discover that the resurrected Christ has been with us all along.
How strange that these two men were so preoccupied that they failed to recognize Him, but then does not the same thing happen even today? Ask Christ to open your eyes spiritually and reveal Himself to you, and invite Him to walk with you day by day.

BE A BONDSERVANT OF CHRIST

For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased  men, I would not be a bondservant  of Christ.
Galatians 1:10
AT TIME YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE a choice between pleasing God and pleasing those around you, for God's way are not man's ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). As important as it is to strive for good relations with other it is even more important to maintain a steadfast and obedient relationship with Christ. Disobeying God to keep peace with other people is never wise. Peace with God is always paramount.
Jesus warned that obeying Him might cause division in your relationship (Matt.10:35-36). If Paul's primary goal had been to please others, he would never have become an apostle of Jesus Christ. Paul went completely against the wishes of his colleagues in order to obey Christ. At times, obedience to God sets family  members at odds with each other ( Matt.10:35-36). When you follow Jesus' lordship, your family may misunderstand, or even oppose you, yet your to God reflects your identity as His child. Jesus said that those who obey His will are His brothers and sisters (Luke 8:31). God does not intend to divide the home, but He places obedience before domestic harmony.
It is important to get alone in quietness with God so that you understand what pleases Him. The world's thinking will mislead you more easily when you are not clear about what God desires. It broke  Peter's heart to know that the opinion of a servant girl had mattered more to him than the approval of his Lord! If the desire to appease others tempts you to compromise what you know God wants you to do, learn from Peter's mistakes. Determined that you will please your Lord regardless of the opinions of others.

LIVING ON HIGH

Never live in a lesser place than where God has called you to, and He has called you up on high to live with Him...Through Christ, He has given you power "over all the power of the enemy" (Luke 10:19).)
God wants His people to live in the place of authority! Absolute dominion in the spirit realm. He has called us to "reign with Him"
(2 Timothy 2:12), to reign with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords! He said, "All authority ["power," KJV] has been given to Me in heaven and on earth" (Matthew 28:18). This is power that is ours as we become one with Him. Certainly, the Enemy has power. But we have "all power"! All power over Enemy and our own flesh. Paul lived in it and so can we. God wants us to live in the place where we wield this power. We have power over the power of the Enemy, but all too many  believers live under the power of the Enemy- under sickness, under poverty, under bondage to sin. "Brethen, these things ought not to be so" (James 3:10). What the man of God saying was, never settle for anything less than complete victory. It is one thing to be going through a trial fighting, quite another to be stuck having resigned oneself to it. Too many have grown to accept their difficulties. Why? The "spirit of slumber" (Roman's 11:8KJV) that they have allowed to overtake them does not permit them to see or hear anything differently.
Do you again see the man of secret in the above excerpt from his sermon? He didn't  accept anything less than God's best. The secret of the "flames of fire" (Hebrew 1:7) is the secret of being filled with God!
The hunger brings the desperation, brings the breakthrough, brings the awakened spirit, brings the revelation, brings the authority, brings power, brings the victory, brings everything God has for us and everything that we'll ever need, until we are totally filled with God.
You can live "on high" (Hebrew 1:3) with Him and "reign with Him" 2 (Timothy 2:12) as you are filled with God.

HE FOUND YOU

He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit, for without Me you can do nothing.
(John15:5)
When shall we know He is there? When we are "found in Him" (Philippian 3:9), not having our own work or our own plans, but resting in the omnipotent plan of God.
To abide in Christ, to be "found in Him," what an incredible reality! This is our goal, our purpose, and God's ultimate purpose for us. Abiding in Him is the other side of being possessed by the Spirit of God, the fruit of brokenness, another beauty of the Christlife. When He truly reigns as King in us in all things, then we will always be "found in Him."
Paul talked about being "found in Him" in Philippian 3:9, and he went on to say in verse 12, "Not that i have already attained,...but I press on." The Scripture tells us that we are already in Christ, but Paul was going a step further by talking about the full appropriation  of this reality in his life. He "pressed on" with all his heart, and so must we.
One of your constant themes is the hidden  life, a life "hidden with Christ."  For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God" (Colossian 3:3). It is a life in "the secret place of the Most High" (Psalm91:1), so that we might say with the psalmist,  "You are my hiding place" (Psalm 32:7).
When we live fully in His plan and not our plans His ideas and not our ideas, His thoughts and not our thoughts
( see Isaiah 55:8-9), His work and not our own, then our lives are hidden in Christ because we have reached the point of brokenness. You must find this place if you really want to be used of God. When you do, you will really know that He is there.
Every day must be a step toward living in this  place, being "found in Him," where your mind stops and His mind begins to take over, where your thoughts cease and He fills you with His thoughts. Your devotional time is not just an opportunity to give God your list of request, but rather a time of change and transformation, a time of surrender and becoming one with God. Each day, set yourself a specific times of total surrender,  of seeking God to take over your thoughts, plans dreams, visions feelings in short,  everything. This is yielding; this is possession. You must know, thought, that God will not take over your will and force you into this place. You never lose your will. Possession is when your will is daily given to Him so that you may enter "the secret place" and be "found in Him."

AN AWAKENED SPIRIT

In this way he has given us the very great and precious gifts he promised, so that by means of these gifts you may escape from the destructive lust that is in the world, and may come to share the divine nature.
2 Peter 1:4
We begin to live with an awakening spirit that lays hold of all the "exceedingly great and precious promises" (2 Peter1:4) of God. This in turn, brings us into the realization of the power and authority that we actually have in Him. We begin to live on high! You may have the word, but you need an awakened spirit. The Word is not alive until it is moved upon by the Spirit of God.
Like the sailors in the mouth of the Amazon, many of us are dying of spiritual lack in the midst of the abundant riches of God. In this present time, more of the  preaching the Word than in any previous era. The wonderful truths and promises of God are being declared in churches around the world by men of God with sincere hearts.
However, great teaching becomes just "knowledge [that] puffed up" (1Cor.8:1). In the minds of those whose spirit have fallen into slumber. An awakened spirit is one that is free of the doping effects of the flesh and the canal mind.
Who you are and what is yours now Christ is nothing short of phenomenal! But the carnal mind (the sinful, fleshly mind that you lived with prior to conversion) cannot even begin to see this let alone appreciate it. Neither can you grasp it if you are still controlled by your emotions and feelings. The reason is that, when your emotions rule, your spirit slumbers. When you feel happy, think you believe; but when you are sad, down, or depressed  the faith you thought you had seems to disappear. You are riding an emotional roller coaster up, then down; belief then doubts; trust, then worry and so on. Who and what you are in Christ is nothing short of phenomenal.
The solution is to live by your born-again spirit, an awakened spirit ruled by Holy Spirit, and not by your mind emotions. But how do you do this. God is looking for those who will do the same. Lord, let of us ever live with an awakened spirit. Take us out of our slumber, so that we might be all that You desire totally filled with all that You have for us.

NO SECRETS YOU HAVE TO COME TO LIGHT

"For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light."
LUKE 8:17
ONE OF SATAN SUBTLE DECEPTION is that you can do things in secret that will  never be revealed. This is simply not so. The Bible stresses that everything  done in darkness  will one day be brought to light. So before you commit yourself to do anything  questionable, seriously ask yourself, "Am I willing for those around me to know what I am about to do? Am I willing for God to watch me participate in this activity?"
The knowledge that God sees what we do, the certainty that we are accountable  for every word and actions, ought to dissuade us from sin (2Cor.5:10). But we can become so alienated from God that even this knowledge does not deter us. God promises that He will publicly expose our sin so that we must give an account to others for our actions. Ultimately, everything we do will be exposed on judgement day.
Still, some people believe they can sin against God, their families their employers, or their friends and never be discovered.
God has provided a safeguard against sin: the certainty of disclosure, Scripture  commands us to expose the deeds of darkness as we become aware of them (Eph.5:11). As Christians we are to be the light that dispels the darkness in our world. We live in. Sin cannot continue in the Christian's experience, for light cannot dwell with darkness. The only insurance against  having your sins exposed is living a blameless life in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

ALL YOU NEED IS THE PRESENCE OF GOD

It is in vain for you to rise up early the psalmist does not here say that it is improper to rise up early; or their could be no advantage of it; or that people would be more likely to be successful in their undertaking if they didn't rise early. But, that, altbough this was done, they would be still, aithough together dependend to God. Mere early rising, without his blessing, would not secure what they hope to accomplish, for everything is in the hand of God. Health, strength, clearness of mind, and success, are all under his control. And though early rising may tend to produce all of these- as it does in fact- yet still people are not the less dependent on God for success. To sit up late - that you may labor or study. Then he said to Him, "If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here."  It is possible to experience success and yet be void of God's Presence. If success is what is important to you, you may be tempted to choose accomplishments over your relationship with God. God offered to send an angel with the Israelites as they entered the promised land to ensure their success in every venture. No army could withstand them. No city wall could stop it. The wealth of the land lay before them. Everything they had ever dreamed of appeared to be theirs for the taking. The only thing missing would be the presence of God. God said they were an obstinate people, and He would not go with them when their hearts were far from Him. Let us read is account of (Matthew 3:1-6). The Israelites came to Jordan in faith having been told that they should pass it in the way of duty, Let us proceed as far as we can, and depend on the Lord. Joshua led them particular. Notice is taken of his early rising as afterward, upon others occasion
Which show little he sought his own ease, those who would bring great thing to pass. Must rise early, love not sleep lest Thou come in poverty. Let me explain in my side. I rise up early to pray,  i go to my work to avoid traffic, i always go ahead of time at work that i can finished accomplished more work not being overloaded of my work schedule i found that there is joy. And it became a life style for me. This type of circumstances i called it The Battle of within us. In his letter to Christians in Galatia, Paul tried to get them to understand the inner conflict that all who belong to Christ will experience between "the flesh" (our sinful human nature), and the Holy Spirit who lived within us. (Galatians 5:17)
Because our self-centered nature wants it own way, it fights the Law of the kingdom within us. So we often end up doing our will rather the kingdom we suppose to be doing. He said "Walk in the Spirit"

DELIVERED INTO YOUR HAND

And the Lord said to Joshua, "Do not fear them, for I have delivered them into your hand; not a man of them shall stand before you."
JOSHUA 10:8
NO GREATER CONFIDENCE WILL EVER COME TO YOU or to any other Christian than the confidence of knowing you are doing God's will. God will not commission you to do anything without ensuring your success. God  assured Joshua that there was no reason to fear as he prepared to battle the Canaanites. God would allow the Israelites to fight the battle, but the outcome was settled before they ever picked up their weapons. What confidence this gave them as they fought! Even though their enemies fought relentlessly, Joshua's army was certain of Eventual victory.
God does not promise you victory in every task you devise, but He does promise that you will be successful whenever you follow His will (Deut.28.7,25).
Does it appear that people are keeping you from obeying God's will? Rest assured that God will not allow anyone or anything to prevent His children from accomplishing His purposes.
Be careful to evaluates success in the way that God does. Perhaps He is working to produce His peace in your heart as you face troubling times. perhaps He is working to develop a forgiving spirit in you when others mistreat you. Perhaps He is working to eliminate a particular sin in your life. If you accept the world's understanding of victory,  you may feel defeated. If you look to see what God is accomplishing your through your situation, you will find that He is succeeding. When you face opposition but know you are doing what God has asked, have confidence that He will accomplish everything that He desires.

Because who you are

"I cry out to God Most High, to God, who fulfills his purpose for me. He sends from heaven and saves me, revoking those who hotly pursue me; God sends his love and his faithfulness."
Psalm 57:2-3
PERHAPS LONG AGO When you first believed in Christ you may have heard those familiar  words, "God loves you and has a wonderful  plan for your life." That brand-new thought warmed your heart, didn't it? You excitedly embarked on your spiritual journey, pleased  and comforted to know that God has a unique and special plan just for you.
But perhaps those days when you first believed are long ago and far away. You've gotten sidetracked,  your attention diverted. If so, let me ask you: Do you still believe God has a wonderful plan for your life? If not, let Psalm 57 jar your memory. Find assurance  in the first few verses.
God will fulfills His purpose plan through you. He fulfill His plan through you as you touch others with His love and faithfulness.
Nothing ever thwarted the purpose of God. Nothing can ruin His plan. If you are trusting  Him, then God's plan for you is progressing  right on schedule full speed ahead.
Because God is love, His plans can only be loving. Because God is good, His intentions  for you are of the highest good. Because He is Lord of Hope,  His purpose is to always give you hope. He can never be (or do!) less than He is. God will only permit in your life those trials that, with His grace, you are able to handle. That includes everything from emotional pain to physical paralysis. And this is why you have the assurance that His plans only mean spiritual prosperity for you and a hopeful future.

TODAY

"For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Roman1:21NASB.
The gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes, for it is by faith we are saved... but how many refuse to place their trust in the very God Who created them, and Who sent His only begotten  Son, to be the sacrifice for the sin of mankind.
Many like to call themselves atheists or agnostics refusing to believe in their Creator, despite overwhelming evidence, in every area of God's creation. Some, have adopted  doctrines of demons and foolish philosophies of men, while others and been hoodwinked into serving false gods or believing in a distorted Scripture causing All to deny the Lord Who bought them.
This rejection of the true and living God, is not only a modern trend, which is evidence  throughout the nation's of our time. This spurning of God and His gracious offer salvation has been evident, in every nation and generation, from the beginning of  creation, and has continued unabated, down  through the corrupt corridors of time.
Men are sinners by nature, making the whole world guilty before the Lord. And although the heavens declare the glory of God and the glittering stars in the firmament of heaven, displayed His powerful handiwork, fallen man has rejected their mighty Creator, and formed their own little gods in their own foolish image.
Although every man knows, in their intellect, because of the magnificence and intricacies of His creation, and the unparalleled  wonders of His creative handiwork... nevertheless, they refused to acknowledge  Him as their maker. They do not give Him the glory He justly deserves... neither do they offer Him their thanks and praise, for all that He has done for each one of us.
God's condemnation of the pagan world, and His righteous indignation against their foolishness is because the invisible majesty, the eternal power and the glory of God is clearly displayed throughout the creations and yet, despite knowingly the truth, they  suppress it through their wild imaginations, which causes their hearts to become hastened, calluses and unrepentant. This is the sorry of fallen humanity, who in prideful conceit, have chosen to hand themselves over to worldly philosophies, foolish imaginations and futile speculation, instead of acknowledging the true, incorruptible, infinite and living God. How sad, that even though they knew God, they did not honour Him as God, nor did they give Him the Thanksgiving and praise, He deserves... but they became futile in their stupid speculations, and their foolish heart became shrouded in a satanically inspired darkness.
Paul's description of unregenerate men, in this first chapter of Roman's, not only refers to past, pagan, gentile nation of long ago a and generations of prideful, unbelieving Israel. It is also perfectly describes the arrogant, anti-God agenda of the 21st century, which has become so painfully familiar in this God-hating agenda of the 21st century, which has become  so painfully familiar, in this God-hating, Christ-rejecting, a sinful world.
Nevertheless, Christ died for each one, and while it is still "Today." There is time for sinners to turn from their wicked ways and to trust in the true and living ways and to trust in the true and living God. There is no who is too far removed from Gods saving money grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us continue to share the good news of the  gospel of grace, with those that are dead in their sins and living under God's  condemnation for who knows, if some may turn from their sinful  ways and trust in Christ for the salvation of their soul?

"BE BLESSED AND IT IS YOUR"

Early one morning years ago an American  serviceman was making his way back to the barracks in London. He saw a little boy with his nose pressed to the window of a bakery, staring in silence. The serviceman's heart went out to the little boy, probably an orphan. "Son, would you like some of those?" "Oh, yeah, I would!"
The serviceman stepped inside and bought a dozen. He took the bag outside to the boy and said, "Here you are." As he turned to walk away, he felt a tug on his coat. He heard the child ask quietly, "Mister, are you God?" When we give, we act as God does. "God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten  Son..." (John 3:16). As God's people, we should be givers, not only at the Christmas  season, but as a way of life. In his final address to the Ephesian elder, Paul reminds them one more time of his own example when he had been with them. His example of being free from greed and of working to provide for his own needs and even for needs of his co-workers, demonstrated before them how they, too, should shepherd God's flock. More than his own example, though, Paul told them to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." Then Luke records the emotional farewell between Paul and these men who thought that they would never see his face again. Jesus' words here are not contained anywhere else in Scripture. Apparently they were part of the oral tradition handed down from those who had been with Jesus during His earthly ministry. Read John (21:25), mentions, if everything that Jesus did was written, down in details, even the whole world couldn't contain the books. We may wish sometimes that we had more of Jesus' sayings, but what we are given are probably convicting enough for us to work on for a lifetime! That is certainly true of His words here. By our fallen nature, we all are takers, not givers. But by God's sanctifying grace, He wants us all to grow to be givers. As we do, not only will others be blessed, but so will we! But, why are giver more blessed than those who receive? I remember as a boy when my mother would quote this verse to me at Christmas time, thinking, "well, then I'll let someone else get blessed by giving to me" I wanted to be on the receiving end Our text explicitly reveals three reason is implicit in Jesus' statement and taught explicitly in other Scriptures:
Givers are blessed because they are freed from greed, they are being conformed to Jesus, they have enduring relationships with others, and they will reap eternal rewards.
1. Givers are blessed because they are freed the destructive sin of greed (20:33-35a).
Perhaps Paul is contrasting himself with the false teachers that he has just warned them about, wolves who come in to feed on the flock, rather  than to freed the flock, throughout the Bible, false teachers are denounced for being greedy and covetous (Isa56:11; Jer.6:13;8:10; Luke16:14;Tim.6:5 Titus1:11; 2Pet.2:3,14,15; Jude16). But Paul's  example shows us that...
A. ELDERS ARE TO SET TGE EXAMPLE  OF BEING FREE FROM GREED.
As Paul himself argued
(1Cor.9:1-18;1Tim.5:17-18). Those who labour in the gospel are worthy of being supported by the gospel. But there is a huge difference between a man being supported by the Gospel and a man who is in the ministry to get rich by taking advantage  of others. One requirement for elders is that they be "free from the love of money"
(1 Tim.3:3). Both elders and deacons must not be "fond of sordid gain" (Titus1:7;Pet.5:2; 1Tim3:8).
If a man is trying to fleece the flock, it erodes trust and undercuts the basis for any lasting  spiritual ministry.
Read the prophet (Micah 3:11). Denounced Jerusalem's leaders that pronounced judgement for a bribe, her priests that instructed for a price, and her prophets that divine money. In the world, giving counsel for a hefty fee is standard practice. unfortunately, the Christian world has imitated the secular world in this. But the Lord's servants should offer counsel or other ministry freely, trusting God that if the people are ministered unto, they will reciprocate by helping to meet the needs of the one who has  ministered to them. There is nothing wrong with charging for a product, such as a book or CD, where there are obvious costs in production and marketing. But even there is, the focus of many Christians seems to be on making huge profits, not on ministry to the Lord's  people.
B. GREED IS A SIN THAT DESTROYS THE GREEDY PERSON.
The Bible ranks greed or covetousness alongside immortality and idolatry, warning that "because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience" (Eph.5:5-6; Col.3:5-6; see also Mark 7:21-23; Cor.5:10). Paul said that those who desire  to get rich get shared by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction (1Tim.6:9).
C. THE SOLUTION TO OVERCOME GREED IS TO WORK TO PROVIDE FOR YOUR OWN NEEDS AND TO GIVE TO PROVIDE FOR THE LEGITIMATE NEEDS OF OTHERS.
In Ephesians 4:28, Paul wrote, "He who steal must steal no longer; but rather he must labor, performing with his own hands what is good, so that he will have something to share with the one who has need." When he was in Ephesus, Paul has been an example both of hard work and generosity. He had made tents to meet his own needs, and from any surplus, he had helped support the men who worked with him in the gospel. Apparently he also had enough funds to help some in the church who were needy (20:35a).
Paul's  example affirms the dignity of work, including physical labor. Some are like Maynard G. Krebs in the old Dobie Gillis TV show. Everytime the word "Work" was spoken, Maynard would jump backwards  and shriek as if he had been contam6by the plague, "Work!" Some think that work is a part  of the curse. But Adam had work to do before the curse  and we will have work to do throughout eternity. The curse is the thorns and thistles that interfere with productive  labor, not the labor itself.
All Christian men, except  those who are physically  or mentally incapable,  are responsible to work in order to provide  for their families' and their own needs. Women are primarily to be workers at home.
(Titus 2:5). Not to provide for one's family is to deny the faith and be worse than an unbeliever (1Tim.5:8). A fairly strong  warning! Paul says that if a man will not work, the church should not feed him. (2Thess.3:10). But this pandemic time all is excused.

THE LORD OUR PROTECTOR

As i continue to seek this pandemic story reached to the point that i was just victim fighting alone. But i will share some of this idea they leave a clue that i had notice. The sharing of room is dangerous. The pattern of how they cover the exhaust airflow of air out the ceiling determine that something is going on went you sleep at room. You never know. It is like a cat and mouse strategy. if you are sharing a room or one room. You must check the ceiling the airflow should not be cover anything it should be open. Because there is anomaly in this situation. The company knows about there product. But your neighbor room you never know who they are, that it is part of the scheme. What (2 Corinthian 10:4-5) i give Thank and glory to our God, Jesus Christ and also to my belove brother hener for the prayer it keep me strong. If you believe in Jesus call now for your prayer protection. And submit to him and resist the devil. Goodnews bible. The weapons we use in our fight are not the world's weapon but God's powerful weapons, which we use to destroy strongholds we destroy false arguments; we pull down every proud obstacle that is raised against the knowledge of God; we take every thought captive and make it obey Christ. Then this (Psalm 4:7-8). In this verse the Lord show me a revelation, "But the joy that you have given me is more than they will ever have with all their grain and wine. "when I lie down, I go to sleep in peace: you alone, O Lord keep me peefectly safe. (Isaiah 41:10)
" Do not be afraid- I am with you! I am your God- let nothing terrify you! I will make you strong and help you I will protect you and save you. But you must resist the devil. (James 4:7).So then, submit yourselves to God Resist the devil, and he will run away from you. Continue praying and it will over come your situation. Read (Roman15:13) "May God, the source of hope. Fill you with joy and peace by means of your faith in him. So that your hope will continue to grow by the power of the Holy Spirit. Read The whole Armor of God. (Ephesian 6:10-18)
Read (psalm 121: 7-8) (Psalm 91). I suffered 6 night without sleep thinking it was just normal situation that i can overcome in my human thinking! That on the third day i feel un easy bad feeling! That i had to fight back do something that will stop what they are doing? Third night i call bro hener for prayer he told me everything that all what he experience is the same feeling what is happening to him and it happen to me also to God be the glory! Finally, i build up your strength in union with the Lord and by means of his mighty power. In this pandemic time you must have a savior to be save. The deliverance of your soul. It was Psalm 4: 7-8 the Holy Spirit give the revelation of who they are.. They will never give an inch until you become a victim of today's that is happening now. You must have this double edge sword. Which is the Word of God. This virus didnt start outside the open earth, this started who you are sharing with? I mean rented room. They are god of themselves, look the character of this individual this type of group of people you will encountered. They embrace the wrong side of belief. I read and research how the South korean manage to take control. Its just private but effective approach. I write this for my personal experience that i personally encountered. That why i claim that i am a child of God and sleep like a baby i mediate His Word in Psalm 121: 7-8 coming in and out now and forever. In the 7days they move out and when to 4th Floor. Thank you Lord that my prayer is answered the right word is confusion send it back to their camp. In Roman 15:13 there is hope in the Lord.  Then, the flat holder told its time to pay the rent i give it. The he said don't worry they will leave, then i said ok! They are lifting some item start moving, but i found out that they still here Oh my God! This is it they want something must happen and they want to finish the battle in the air this is more tense. Praise God we have online cell every tuesday. The Lord said i will keep you strong coming in and out. Psalm (121:4-5).  On the early 2:00 Am June 22, 2020 the Holy Spirit told me to prayed and declare the His word; then 7:00 Am same day the enemy scattered and they moved out. Praised the lord. On that day I sleep 7hrs. Now the house is free. This pandemic is human conspiracy, witchcraft. In the old days.. this is well organized but are red.

GOD USING US VERSUS US USING GOD (ACT 19 10-20)

As you are no doubt aware, many evangelicals claim that we should be experiencing the kinds of signs and wonders that we Read about in our text. Since the early 20th century, the Pentecostal made such claims, but many took them seriously. But in the late 1970's John Wimber and the Vineyard churches that he spawned began claiming that miracles should be the ordinary experience of the church. Jesus said that His followers would do greater works than He Himself did (John 14:12). Winber asserted that the main reason that we do not see such works of power is about our sceptical western mindset. Along with Peter Wagner and Charles Kraft, in 1982 wimber began teaching a course at fuller Seminary. MC510, popularly called "sign and wonder." Hundreds of students took the course, which ran until 1986, when the seminary halted the class and appointed a task force to evaluate the material from biblical, theoretical, scientific, and pastoral  perspectives (published as Ministry and the Miraculous, edited by Lewis Smedes [ Fuller Seminary], 1987), winber did not believe that miracles will take place every time we pray, but he did reach that they are the necessary manifestations of the kingdom's presence and advance. If we are not doing miracles along with our preaching, we are not preaching the gospels as we should, according to Winber .
The hope of miraculous healing attract many people go church that claim to see such miracles happening, because there are many who are afflicted with serious, incurable  illnesses. We have many in our church suffering from such diseases. I often pray for them, and I would rejoice if God miraculously healed them. sometimes God does heal miraculously, and we should pray for it. If it is His will if that anyone in town, or even in the United States, had the God-given gift of healing. It would either try to bring him here or urge those who are sick to go wherever he was, do that they might be healed.
Luke notes that these miracle in Ephesus were extraordinary, even for the apostle Paul (19:11). They seem to parallel the extraordinary miracles that Peter performed  for a brief period in his ministry (5:15-+6). It is significant that apart from Stephen and Philip, who worked closely under the apostles. There are no miracles recorded as performed by anyone other than the apostles and, it seems that all who were brought to them were healed (5:16). The purpose of
apostolic miracle (according to Heb. 2:3-4), was to confirm the message of salvation  that Jesus and the apostles proclaimed. In fact, throughout the entire Bible , miracles are not uniformly sprinkled as every day  occurrences. Rather they are cluster at key moments, such as the exodus, where God was working on behalf of His people. Those who lived after are often reminded of these former miracles to call them back to God.
In out text, Paul's extraordinary miracles in Ephesus are contrasted with the attempts of some inept Jewish exorcist to duplicate the miracles. No doubts the early church often chuckled as it retold the story of these seven men running wounded and naked from the house after the demonic man overpowered  them. By drawing this contrast, Luke wants us all to learn a vital lesson that many "Faith healers" and their follower need to learn:
We should allow God to use us according to His will for His glory, but we should not try to use Him for our own purpose.
That summaries the main difference  between Paul and these Jewish exorcists. Paul was allowing God to use him according to God's will and for God's glory. But these spiritual charlatans were trying to use God for their own financial profit, and those who hired the exorcist were trying to use God's  power for their own purpose. Rather, they wanted to use God as an Aladdin's Genie, and then put Him back on the shelf until they needed His services again.
Even so, many even many in the evangelical  church attempt to use God for health or wealth or whatever other favors they desire. When He doesn't  perform according to their expectation, they quickly  look elsewhere for  answers. But in their search for answers to their problems, Jesus Christ is not their Lord. They are their own lordships, as seen by their quickly turning to the world when Jesus doesn't  seem to work as they had hoped.
1. We should not try to use God for own purposes.
The issue here is not whether or not Hod will bless those  who come to Hin in faith for salvation. The Bibles shows that God delights to pour out His blessing to us with every spiritual  blessing in the  heavenly places in Christ" (Eph.1:3). When we come to Christ,  He Grant's us "everything pertaining to life and godliness" (2 Pet.1:3). Clearly, we receive all the riches of Christ when we come to Him for salvation.
Rather, focusing  on the issue of "Who is Lord?" And on the issue of repentance from our sins. If we come to God use Him to see if He works, them we are still the lords of our lives, and we have not turned from our many sins. If God works, then we'll use Him wherever we need Him, but we determined  when and where that will be. Do we need a new job or a raise in our current job? Name it and claim it by faith, and it's yours! Do you need healing from a disease? Command and  put in remembrance our God  and He must obey your word of faith! This is what many in the Dord of Faith movement are teaching! For example, a prominent Word-Faith teacher has blatantly said.
Now this is a real shocker, but God has to be given permission to work in this earth realm  on behalf of man. Yes, you are in control! So if man has control, who no longer has it? God. When Hod gave Adam dominion,  that meant God no longer had dominions, so God cannot do anything in this earth unless we let Him. And the way we let Him or give Him permission  is through prayer. (Fred Price, quoted by Christianity  in Crisis Study Guude, 40: in The signs and wonder Movement-Exposed [ Day one Publication], ed. By Peter Glover, p.33).
That kind of heresy makes man the lord and God man's servant. But the God of the Bible is the Sovereign  Lord, who "does according  to His will in the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth: and no one can ward off His hand or say to Him, 'What have You done?'" (Dan.4:35). These Jewish exorcist  reveal the three wrong ways that we all are prone to use God for our own purpose:
A. WE ATTEMPT  TO USE GOD WHEN WE USE SPIRITUAL  POWER FOR FINANCIAL GAIN.
These false prophets went around from town to town making a living by supposedly  casting  demons out of those who were afflicted. Luke calls their father, Sceva, a Jewish chief priest (19:14). But since there is no record of any Jewish chief priest by the name, either he was a member of a high priestly family, or, more likely, he took the title for himself to impress his clientele. These men had a bag full of magic spells, rituals, incantation,  oaths, and the like. They would try to gain power over the evil spirit by invoking the name of a more powerful spirit being. So when they heard about Paul's success using the name of Jesus, theyadded it to their repertoire. But they found out that if was kind of like using a hand grenade without knowing how it works. It went off in their faces and they were doing it for financial gain. The Bible says that elders who rule well should be paid for their labours, especially those who work hard at Preaching and teaching (1 Tim.5:17-18). Those who ho out as evangelist  or missionaries  have a right to be supported in their labours (1cor.9:3-18; 3John 7-8). But that is far different from those, like the prominent TV "evangelist" and "faith healers" of our day, who make a fortune  peddling their spiritual wares on unsuspecting ppeople.I Read some of them send their appeals for funds to arrive at the same time that elderly people's Social Security  checks arrive! They often travel first class, insist on staying in five-star hotels, and demand large sums of money to home for their crusades (sign and Wonders Movement exposed p.22). Theylive in personal  luxury and promise their poor audiences that they, too  can live in luxury  if they will just have the faith and, of course, give generously to their ministries! They are feeding themselves at the expense of the flock (Ezek.34:2). They are serving mammon, not God!
B. WE ATTEMPT TO USE GOD WHEN WE MANIPULATE  THE SCRIPTURES ACCORDING TO WHAT "WORKS"
These exorcists were not submitting  their lives to God's  Word. In fact  they were in direct disobedience  to the Word, which condemned false prophets who purported  to speak in God's  name when He had not sent them Ezek13:6). But clearly, they were in the business of using whatever worked. If one spell or incarnation didn't work, they would try another one. If Paul was having success using this name of Jesus, they would try it out. And, although the attempt to use the name of Jesus didn't  seem to work for them this time, they must have stayed in business. Either through satanic power or the power of suggestion or hypnosis, they saw enough results to stay in business. But they didn't  live in submission to God's Word. But whenever we use what works without regard  for the truth of scripture, we've fallen into pragmatism. As John MacArthur (Ashamed of the Gospel [Cgosswsy Books]) and others have do capably shown, pragmatism  has flooded into American evangelical church. We use marketing techniques to draw the crowds to our churches. We tone down the difficulty parts of the Gospel and emphasize the feel good parts so that we don't  scare off potential  CONVERTS.we avoid difficult doctrines and give shorter messages that focus on how people want to hear.we use psychological counselling and 12 step Groups instead of submission to the lordship of Christ to help people cope with life's  problems, because these  techniques seem to work. Pastors flock to conference  that share the latest methods that are proven to build your church. These Jewish exorcists  probably could have landed a job on the staff of many thriving evangelical churches in our day!
C. WE ATTEMPT TO USE GOD WHEN WE DABBLE  IN THE OCCULT
These exorcists were directly involved in the occult. They were trying to manipulate demons by demonic power for their own or others' advantage. But they ended up getting hurt (literally), because they were playing with powers greater than they realized. Many Christian and even some Christian leader  today DABBLE in the occult,  sometimes without realizing what they are doing. Techniques  of using visualization as a means of healing or financial  success are an occult  practice (Dave Hunt & T.A Mc Mahon. The Seduction of Christianity [Harvest House], pp.123-169). Many of the "Word-Faith" teachers are really promoting  the occult when they tell you to visualise  and speak into existence whatever you want, assuring you that God will do what you speak in faith. Astrology, fortune teller, ouija boards, and tarot card are directly  demonic, and yet many Christian's think of them as innocent games. Rather than attempting to use God for our own purposes, as these Jewish exorcists did, we should follow the example of Paul.
2. We should allow God to use us according to  His will God His glory
Paul was not building a following for Paul; he was pointing people to Jesus Christ. We read that "the name of the Lord Jesus [not Paul's] was being magnified" (19:17). "The word of the Lord [not Paul's techniques for healing] was growing mightily and prevailing "(19:20). Paul was willing to live or die, as long as now, as always, Christ would be exalted in his body (Phil.1:21). In Paul's experience in Ephesus and in the lives of those who responded  to the Gospel  there we see four aspects of those whom God uses for His glory.

"THE KINGDOM IS YOUR"

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
Matthew 5:3
THE BIBLE PRESENTS MANY PARADOXES THAT CHALLENGE OUR HUMAN WAY OF THINKING. We think of the poor as possessing very little, yet Jesus said the riches of heaven belong to the poor in spirit. Self-reliance robs us of God's good gifts. Jesus insisted that in order to follow Him, we will never place our trust in Him. As we acknowledge the poverty of our soul, we realized how desperately  we need a Savior. Jesus declared "Repent" For the kingdom of heaven is near" ( Matt.4:17). God has so much to give the one who recognizes  his need and will call upon Jesus!
Jesus said it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God. He had just encountered the rich ruler who valued his possessions so much that he could not give them up to follow Jesus (Luke18:18-24). Jesus later encountered Zaccheus, a wealthy,  notorious sinner (Luke19:1-10). Despise  Zaccheus's material wealth, he recognized  his spiritual  poverty and found salvation. Jesus taught the disciples that the true wealth is found in a relationship with God. Those who realized their inherent  spiritual poverty  apart from God will trust in Him, and He will enrich their lives immeasurably. Do not allow your resources, wisdom, talent, or abilities to prevent you from trysting6 the Person who can bring you abundant life.

"NOT THIS WAY"

From the same mouth come both blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be this way.
James 3:10(NASB)
WE ARE REQUiRED BY GOD TO CONDUCT OUR LIVES WITH GODLY WISDOM AND SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING... but the most unruly evil, which is incapable of being subdued by self-effort or rigorous training is the taming of the tongue.
This little organ can produce the most beautiful blessing which give glory to God while at the same time can pour forth the most un-sanctified filth and blasphemy,  which discredit His holy name and these things ought not to be.
The same mouth should not pour forth both sweet and bitter water...and this is not only an admonition for the few but a warning that is applicable in the life of all believers. An important key to Godly speech is fight thinking Godly words that reflect a biblical perspective are rooted in a mind that is stayed in Christ Gracious thoughts and purity of heart is a manifestation of the fruit of the spirit in a life that is governed by God and walking in spirit and truth.
Humility, grace, peace and love are the precious spiritual fruit that should be evidently in the life of all God's children.. who have gained wisdom and has been given Godly understanding and the Lord Jesus Himself was the embodiment of all holy wisdom...and the personification of godly humility. The Lord Jrsus was the one Who throughout His earthly life demonstrated how  all humanity was originally designed to live and He remains the perfect example of a Man with Godly wisdom and gracious understanding for He was meek and lowly of heart and and in Him we found rest for our soul. As children of God we are called to live as Christ lived of God we are called to live as Christ lived. We are instructed to live circumspect lives that glorify our Father in heaven-and so we are asked: are there any among you who are wise and have Godly understanding? Let him demonstrate it by his good behaviour and his gracious conduct-in all gentleness and grace...to the glory of God.
If we are to live sorrow of life that God intends, where good behaviour and godly deeds reflect the gentleness and wisdom of God.. tge old self must remain nailed to the cross so that the life of Christ may live in and through us.. to His praise and glory.

"KEEPING THE LOVE ALIVE"

"Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations  of those who love him and keep his commands."
Deuteronomy 7:9
The sun is shining brightly with no cloud in the sky. The birds are chirping. No disagreements hanging over your head. No pressures. All bills is paid. Nothing but clear sailing. Little wonder you find yourself saying out loud, "Lord, this is great. You are wonderful!
True, we get excited about God when circumstances are delightful, when the weather invigorated us, bills are paid, the medical check-up goes fine, and nobody is holding anything over our heads. When things are good, God is good. If things are bad, then God is off in Tasmania taking care of the little devils, or in the south China sea setting the stage for Armageddon.
We are so prone to let our circumstances whether good or bad dictates our lives  and views of God. But time again the Bible tells us that God is faithful. He is not just a faithful God but the faithful God. He is the same steadfast  and good Father yesterday,  today, and forever. Scripture alone should be our frame of reference for who the Lord really is, for circumstances do not a good theology make. Remember this, next time you are quick to tell God how wonderful He is on a golden morning or a peaceful fireside  evening. Whether the day is grand or gloomy, every day is a great day to give praise to God.

GOD WILL PROVIDES

But he who doubts is condemned if he eats because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin
Roman 14:23
The writer of Hebrew reminds us that without faith it is impossible to please God (Heb.11:6). Whatever God reveals something, He expects to believe Him and adjust our lives accordingly. What does this mean? It means we trust Him implicitly for all of our needs because He say He will provide. (Phil.4:19).
Faithfulness is a rare commodity. All of us have had the experience of trusting in someone who has let us down, and we got hurt. Because of that, one of the most encouraging promises in the Bible is, "God is faithful" (1Cor.10:13). People may let you down, but God is always faithful. Once you f course, there are times when it seems as if even God has let us down. We all need to learn to deal with those times of disappointment with God. The problem is always on our end, never on His end! Today I want to focus on our Lord's faithfulness to us, especially in times of difficulty. God's faithfulness does not mean that He exempts us from trials, but rather that He sustains us through them.
1. God's servants all go through difficult times.
Sometimes we put some of the heroes in the Bibles on too high a pedestal. We wrongly imagined that they must not have to struggled with the things we struggled with. If I had to pick words to describe the apostle  Paul, I would say, "bold," "fearless," "courageous," and "determined," "distressed," or "weak," And yet when Paul describes how he felt during his early days in corinth, he uses "distress" (1Thess.3:7), "weakness," "fear," and "much trembling" (1Cor.2:3). Even though he was a giant in faith, Paul struggled with the same emotions that we all struggle with. Why was Paul feeling weak and fearful when he was in Corinth? Let's trace some of the events leading up to his visit there. You will recall that when he was in Asia Minor, he wanted to go into the province of Asia, but the Holy Spirit forbid him. Then he sought to go into Bithynia, but again, "the spirit of Jesus did not permit him" (16:6,7). Then, in the midst of these puzzling hindrances, he got the vision of the Macedonian man, and so they concluded that the Lord was calling them to go there. But things had not gone smoothly. In Philippi Paul and Silas were falsely accused, unjustly beaten, and thrown into the stocks in jail. From there they went to Thessalonica, but after a short time there, the Jews raised an uproar and they had to flee to Berea. The same thing happened there and Paul had to flee to Athens. In Athens, Paul met with ridicule and scant response, which may have been more difficult than open opposition.  And so he left there and traveled alone the fifty miles Corinth. Corinth was situated on an isthmus in southern Greece that made it a prosperous commercial  crossroads. In Paul's day, there were about 200,000 residents from all over the Roman Empire. It housed the Temple of Aphrodite, goddess of love, which had 1,000 prostitutes that plied their trade under the banner of "religion." There were also Male prostitutes and other pagan shrines. The city was so notorious for its immortality, that in the fifth  century B.C, the Greeks coined a verb, "to Corinthianize," that mean to commit sexual immortality. Meanwhile, Paul had run out of money and so he had to find work. Being trained as a tent maker, he found a Jewish tentmaker named Aquila and his wife, Priscilla, and stayed with them and began to work. This was the first time in his missionary journeys that he had to work at his trade to support himself. We don't know whether Aquila and Priscilla had become Christians during their stay in Rome or whether Paul led them to Christ.
Every Sabbath Paul went to the synagogue and reasoned with the Jews and God-fearing Greeks, trying persuade them that Jesus is the Christ, but it was clear that opposition  was building (18:4). Meanwhile, he was anxious about the well-being of the new believers in Thessalonica (1Thess.3:1-8).
Physically, Paul may not have fully recovered from the beating that he had received in Philippi. So the spiritual concerns and discouragement about his ministry, the constant opposition, loneliness, physical pain and weariness, and the lack of funds, were weighting on Paul.
A ray of light broke in Silas and Timothy arrived. They brought good news about the strengths of the churches in Macedonian. They also brought a generous gift from the church in Philippi (Phil.4:10-14; 2 Cor.11:9). That enabled Paul once again to devote himself completely to the ministry of the Word (Acts18:5). But, no sooner had he begun to do so than the Jews fiercely  opposed him. Paul took the dramatic action of shaking out his coat against them and pronouncing, "Your blood be upon your own heads! I am clean. From now on I shall go to the Gentiles" (18:6).
The Lord opened an opportunity for Paul to continue ministering next door to the synagogue in the home of Titus Justus, a new Gentiles  believer, Paul was no doubt encouraged by the conversion of Crispus, the leader of the synagogue. And, many of the Corinthians also were believing and being baptized (18:7-8). But there was also nagging fear that made Paul's insides churn. He could clearly see the pattern: He preached to the Jews and saw some initial response. The Jews who didn't response grew jealous  and stirred up opposition. The Paul had to flee for his life. So now, he saw some initial  response from the synagogue leader and from others in town, Paul may have been on the verge of leaving Corinth before he got forced out. He was afraid and discouraged. And if none other can be assured that all of God's servants go through similar times of difficulty!
2. God is faithful toward His servants.
There are at least five ways that God showed His faithfulness to Paul at this time, and that He unfaithful towards us:
A. GOD IS FAITHFUL TO RAISE UP GODLY CO-WORKERS (18:1-4).
We don't know how Paul met Aquila and Priscilla. Maybe he was answering a help wanted ad! But God used the anti-Semitic edict of the Roman emperor to force this couple to move to Corinth. Paul's lack of funds put him in the job market. And so Godprovidentially brought these three together. They later went with Paul to Ephesus, where they hosted a church in their home (1Cor.16:19). Eventually they returned to Rome, where they hosted a church. Paul says that they risked their lives for his sake, and that they were appreciated by all of the Gentile churches (Rom.16:3'5). In one of the last verses that Paul wrote before he was executed, he sent greetings to this couple, who had his lifelong friends (2Tim.4:19).
Paul also was encouraged when Silas and Timothy rejoined him in Corinth  (Acts 18:5). They brought an encouraging word about Paul's new Christian friends in Thessalonica and Philippi. All of these dear saints were co-workers with Paul in the cause of Christ. (Phi.1:5,7,27; 4:3;1Thess.1:8).
When we are saved, the Holy Spirit baptized us into the body of Christ. We become members of one another, under Jesus Christ our living Head. God did not design us to go it alone. We desperately need each other, even though sometimes we needle each others! All ministry should be team ministry, where we complement one another, pray for one another, and bear one another's burdens. It is a great encouragement to the pastoral staff here when we see the Lord's people labouring together with us for His cause!
B. GOD IS FAITHFUL TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE WORK (18:5).
Paul did not advertise his needs for personal support. He would make known others' needs (2Cor.8:9). But when he ran out of personal funds, he would just start making tents until the Lord provided support.
While I do not think that it is wrong for Christian workers to make their needs known, all of us must live by faith in the area of finances. I do not just mean "all of us who are in full time ministry," but, "all of us"!  I believe that every Christian should be giving enough to the Lord's work that you are forced to trust God to provide some things that otherwise  you could probably just go out and buy. It is a great joy when you live that way and when God provides what you've  been praying for!
By faith that the church will have piece of land to worship the Lord this is all our prayer. As i said whether to share these needs, but then I realized that if I'm the only one praying, I will be the only one blessed when God provides. Since I want you to get blessed, I want you all to bring these needs to the Lord in prayer. He doesn't always answer in the way that we conceive. He may provide in some others ways. But I don't want to get to heaven and hear the Lord say, "Why didn't  you ask Me? I would have provided if you had only asked! Let's all ask!
C. GOD IS FAUTHFUL TO BRING CONVERTS, EVEN IN THE FACE OF OPPOSITION(18:6-8).
Even though Paul faced strong opposition,  Bod graciously brought several to salvation, including the man living next door to the synagogue and the synagogue leader and his family. Many Gentiles from corrupt backgrounds also hid saved (18:7-8). Paul list former fornicator, isolates, adulterers, effeminates, homosexuals, thieves, covetous, drunkards, revilers, and swindler as making up the church in Corinth (1Cor.6:9-11). Where sin abounded, God's grace super-abounded (Rom.5:20). I hope that you pray often for God to use this church and to use you to lead people to saving faith in Jesus Christ. If we are not reaching out to the lost, we have forgotten our mission. If, like Paul at this time in his life, you're struggling with discouragement, nothing will encouraged you more than to see someone you witness  to get saved. If God was mighty to save the corrupt Corinthians, He can save anyone.
D. GOD IS FAITHFUL TO CONFIRM HIS PRESENCE, HIS PROTECTION, AND HIS PURPOSE (18:9-11).
Just when Paul needed it, the Lord appeared to him in a vision and encouraged him: "Do not be afraid any longer, but go on speaking and do not be silent; for I am with you, and no man will attack you in order to harm you, for I have many people in this city" (18:9-10). This is one of six visions that Paul received in Acts (9:12;16:9-10;22:17-21; 23:11; 27:23-24).
All at critical moments in his ministry. This was not just a strong impression, but rather, Paulactually saw Jesus Christ and heard Him speak audibly. Does God still do that today? I won't say that He never does, but I would say that it is probably much more infrequent  than some of our church brethren think. God more usually means is to use His Word and His Spirit to give us the confirmation that we need. He confirmed three things for Paul.
1. THE LORD CONFIRMED HIS PRESENCE
* "I AM WITH YOU. When He gave the great commission, Jesus promised, "I will be with you.
2. THE LORD CONFIRMED HIS PROTECTION
* NO MAN WILL ATTACK YOU IN ORDER TO HARM YOU.
3. THE LORD CONFIRMED HIS PURPOSE
* FOR I HAVE MANY PEOPLE IN THIS CITY." God is referring to His elect, Chosen before the foundation of the world in Jesus Chtist.
I know God can provide for my needs but I think I should do everything I can, just in case." God calls this faithlessness. Faithlessness is sin. "But without faith it is impossible to please Him"
