Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.

When a bear has cubs, she rarely strays fat from them. The mother bear knows that hungry predators prowl the forest in search of any living thing that is vulnerable and unprotected. So, she remain alert and aware, constantly watching for her enemy, or a threat of any kind. She's powerful guardian protecting what is precious to her.
Just as the mother bear watches to protect her cubs, Christians need to watch and guard themselves against out spiritual enemy Satan. For the Bible says he roams about as a lion, ready to devour us.
Maybe you believe that you could never fall prey to Satan's schemes, but nothing could be futher from the truth! A persistent attitude of precautionary watchfulness can protect you against spiritual danger or entrapment.
In today's recommemded reading from Ezekiel, the watchman sounds the warning that enemy soldier are coming. The peoples can choose to heed or disregard his alarm. Be wise and heed the warning to be on guard against Satan. Commit yourself ti see and resist any spiritual threat. Like that mother bear, become a powerful guardian of what is precious to you, and perserve the faith for which Jesus paid so dear a price.
