It's been said that when it comes to living. "Attitude is everything"' this is true in the case of Fanny Crosby ( 1820-1915! ). An eye infection caused her to be blind for the rest of her life. Fanny's attitude? "It was the best thing that could hyve happened to me how in the world could I have lived such a helpgul life had I not been blind?"

         Fanny grew up o serve and glorify God in all she did. She became a hymn writer and eventually composed over 9,000 hymns, many of which are as beloved today as they were over one hundred years ago. Whenever she wrotey a hymn, she first prayed that God would use it to bring many souls to Him.

        You may feel that a disability, physical problem or even an illness is keeping you from being used by God. Ask Him to use you in spite of your challenge, as Fanny Crosby did, and be assured that He will. God looks past your limitations to your heart. No disability can keep God from using you!
