Do you regularly check and maintain your spiritual health? If not then use today's scripture passage as a test to discern your spiritual condition.
First ask yourself, do you exhibit any of the qualities listed in verse 2-5: lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedience to parent, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving?
Or perhaps you are more like verses 10-12 careful doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, etc?
How about you? Are you routinely checking hour heart? When you find quality that died not belong in your life, eliminate it through confession and prayer. Today is the day to take a diagnostic look at your spiritual condition!
Lord God, may we walk worthy of you, pleasing You in all we do and day Amen.
