No Digging Allowed

As far as the east from the west, so far has he removed our transgression front us.
PSALM 103:12
IN HER BOOK HOPE LIVES HERE. Janet Bly tells about driving through a desolate area of country road where she read, encountered a sign that warned, "No digging Allowed!" She wondered, "Why was the sign posted?" Were cables underneath, Or were there ancient graves nearby?
I'd like a few of these "No digging Allowed" sign planted in the memory bank if some people I know. I'm thinking of the pastor whose wife confided to him that before she became a Christian and married him, she had been been sexually involved with young man. Her husband, instead of closing the door on something that happened years before, kept prodding to know more. With tear she said, "I'ved told everything and its running our marriage."
I know many who live with past failures. They took the wrong turn in life and their failures keeps them from moving ahead. They are constantly confronted by memories that obscure their vision of the future. If you are like one of those people, at some point you have to let it go your past. But how can you do this?
Based in who God is, there's Good New friend. Healing begins when you understand that God forgives your failures, He tramples on then and out a "No Digging A!lowed" sign over them.
When God says, " No Digging Allowed," it is not to faked your curiosity but to give you warning that what lies beneath, buried in the soil of forgiveness, should never again see sunlight.
