double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit,
joints and marrow; judges the thoughs and attittudes of the heart"
HEBREW 4: 12

My Word is q drink of Cold water when you're thirsty or a safe place when you're afraid, it's a warm fireside when you're cold or a road map when you're lost.
You can know what is i. Other books, but My Word is a book that know what is in you! So read it when you need wisdom or hope. Open its pages every day, and you'll begin to see that My Word is for you, fight where you are. . . today.
In 1854, a pocket New Testament was inadvertiently dropped from the deck of an English warship into a Japanese harbor. A Japanese sailor saw it, plucked it from the sea, and it ended up in the hands of a Japanese general Murata. General Murata couldn't read English, but eventually found someone who could interpret the book for him.
The general was curious. He knew that the Christian religion was outlawed in Japan, and anyone who followed christianity risked his life. But wmurata secretly began to read the New Testamenr. It made sense to him. He didn't see angry God or a God remotely disconnected from humanity, but a loving God who had sent His Son to show us the way to heaven.
Eventually General Murata believe in this God and asked to be baptized as a christian His conversion rippled throughout his country. Today, there are many Japanese Christians who trace their faith to someone who heard about christianity through General Murata.
Why does this book change the lives of people? It shows a way out of our human dilemma a d how we can overcome the diwnward pull of our old nztures. It provides hone in an otherwise hopeless world. It say that your biggest problems find a solution in Jesus Christ.
What the writer of Hebrews wrote long ago is like a warning that comes with the label of a powerful prescription. Don't get too familiar with the Bible unless you are ready for it to change your life.
