Contending with your culture

Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.
                               DEUTERONOMY 4:9

HAVE YOU EVER ASKED YOURSELF what promps a housewife to become. leader in a cultural battle? What makes some strong enough to lead the fight while others who are far better equipped and prepared, give up? If you want to belong to the former rather than thr latter group, here are way how you can do it:
First, you must believe in the rightness of a cause. What is moral becomes a driving passion. Take for example, the powerful story of William Wilberforce who battled to abolish slavery in the Bristish Empire. Wilberforce's convictions were based upon the Word of God which he considered infallible. He was convinced that God had.made all nations of one blood (Acts 17:26) and that all men were created in His image
Second, you must be willing to pay the price. That price includes ridicule, being the target if lies and slander, isolation, loneliness, and at times, financial loss and pain.
Third, you must not give up but continually do battles for what you believe us right. Never think that you fob't count, that you are so insignificant and small that you can do nothing.
Fourth, you must put your cause in the hands of God who is sovereign and never tolerates wrongdoing. Do not be intimidated by strong individuals.
Never underestimate the fact that God can still take you, and the small spark you ignite, to make a difference. Oneplus God is still take you, and the small spark you ignite, to nake s difference. One plus. God is still the majority. God will never hold you responsible for what you cannot do, but He will hold you accountable for what you can.
