Depend On The Holy Scriptures! The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.

The Holy Scriptures were written by the inspiration of God and they are profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, instruction in righteousness, 2 Timothy 3:16. Inside the Holy Scriptures are God’s laws, testimonies, statues, and commandments. A law is the system of rules which a particular country or community recognizes as regulating the actions of its members and which it may enforce by the imposition of penalties. A testimony is a formal written or spoken statement. Statute is a law or decree made by God. Commandment is a divine rule, especially one of the Ten Commandments. These show that the Word of God has many good things to offer: it converts our soul, make us wise, rejoice our heart, and enlighten our eyes.
