The long selince was broken. For centuries no prophetic voicehad penetrated the stillness, and the people of God longed for divine intervention to give them hope for a new and better tomorrow. Then John the Baptist came and announced that there would be a NEW DAY. A leader be sent by God to establish a new sovereignty the Kingdom of God. The future was filled with possibilities.
We too are part of God's new kingdom, and the future is filled with wonderful possibilities for us. Each new day offers new opportunities---opportunities for joy, for service, and for growth. The attitude we take makes the big difference in whether the day is filled with drudgery and boredom or whether it is a day loaded with fulfillment and achievement.
Our life is God's precious gift to us.we can make it something beautiful.
When John the Baptist foretold beginning of Jesus' ministry, nobody who heard him dreamed of one would still the raging waters or touch the eye of the blind or make the lame to walk. God's fulfillment always exceed anything humans can hope for expect.
PRAYER THOUGHTS: Thank you, Lord, for each ne day. I pray that You will openly eyes to see the opportunities for Service and for happiness that You have given me this day. Amen.
